I took him in every league but 1... major sleeper while Hackett is out IMO..Out of the WR core... Hass knows him the best. Should do very similar to I Bruce.

I'm sorry... can you remind me who lead Sea WRs in Catches and Rec yds... oh wait; I remember now... it was Bobby. And whats that; SA is hurt already.... hmmmmmmmmmmmm... sounds like BE could have a nice week too me.If you say so...Meanwhile back in reality, this isnt the same passing Seattle offense of yesteryear. Alexander will get his TDs and Hasslebeck will throw a bit over 20 TDs. Engram is the slot WR on an average passing team. Bruce is the starter on a phenomenal passing team.

I think you're overlooking the fact that branch had 0 catches... throw in buerlson to the mix and you have a crap shoot... engram's role in the offense is pretty well defined as he lines up in the slot as the WR3 on almost every play he's in the game... there will obviously be an uptick in his production with hackett out, but not enough for most to really take noticeI'm sorry... can you remind me who lead Sea WRs in Catches and Rec yds... oh wait; I remember now... it was Bobby. And whats that; SA is hurt already.... hmmmmmmmmmmmm... sounds like BE could have a nice week too me.If you say so...Meanwhile back in reality, this isnt the same passing Seattle offense of yesteryear. Not that it's really a bad thing as you should have confidence in your selections and reasoning, but I've noticed this too.But I've also noticed this from some of the more popular posters as well so whatever.I probably do it myself sometimes. Especially when it comes to my Packers.Im sorry but it sounds like in all your posts you love the guys you have on your team and hate the guys you couldnt get on your team.I'm sorry... can you remind me who lead Sea WRs in Catches and Rec yds... oh wait; I remember now... it was Bobby. And whats that; SA is hurt already.... hmmmmmmmmmmmm... sounds like BE could have a nice week too me.If you say so...Meanwhile back in reality, this isnt the same passing Seattle offense of yesteryear. This also tells me you eye for talent might still need a little work. Engram is a decent pickup, but to pick somene up in ALL BUT 1 LEAGUE.....I think you could have went a different route with a better option.OK... I play in 4 Money leagues; 2 of which are doubleheaders... I only won one game; Thats 1 out of 6. -- KellysHeros

been to the championship 2 yrs in a row boss... just on a bad start...This also tells me you eye for talent might still need a little work. In my league (PPR, 1 pt./10 yds), Engram has decent value. Wouldn't expect any TDs, but 4-6 catches for 50-70 yards means he's a decent bye-week fill-in.Won't put up big numbers, but at least you'd know what you get.
Youre a Jacobs owner and missed out on Ward in one league. Therefore you think people who wasted money on Ward are stupid and Jacobs will be back in 3 weeks.http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index...2&hl=jacobswho do I hateIm sorry but it sounds like in all your posts you love the guys you have on your team and hate the guys you couldnt get on your team.I'm sorry... can you remind me who lead Sea WRs in Catches and Rec yds... oh wait; I remember now... it was Bobby. And whats that; SA is hurt already.... hmmmmmmmmmmmm... sounds like BE could have a nice week too me.If you say so...

Because Ward is the 2nd coming of Tiki Barber; right.Any player... big or small, can get injuried on any play. And from what I saw... BJ look great. I believe he'll miss 3 weeks tops. The GMen realize that Ward isn't starting RB material and can't take a full load.... RBBC is coming too town. And Droughns can easly over take Ward.
Jacobs will be back in 3 weeks... haven't you read the updates?????? and yes; any non-BJ owner who spent 50% or more of their BB $$ is a little wacked IMHO.Youre a Jacobs owner and missed out on Ward in one league. servicable in some leagues? yes...but super sleeper as you mentioned in the opening thread? NOIn my league (PPR, 1 pt./10 yds), Engram has decent value. wow.. you found a quote with me saying that an injury prone journey-men RB can not take a full load... sounds like some serious hate to me.Because Ward is the 2nd coming of Tiki Barber; right.Any player... big or small, can get injuried on any play. absolutley. Bur is not the possesion WR and could take a 40 yarder to the house.Just out of curiosity; how come people seem so much higher on Engram than Burleson? Both are available in my 14 team league, I was leaning toward Burleson based upon how I heard he had been performing in camp; however I can understand that people like Engram due to his tenure in Seattle. 1 pt PPR in my leauge, I think Burleson should put up similar #s to Engram, but with more of a 'big-play' possibility...
Consistency vs. big-play ability.Engram is Hasselbeck's security blanket, esp. on third down. Burleson may come up with a big play, but Branch is the No. 1 option, and Burleson hasn't shown me enough to warrant picking him up, and expecting any kind of consistent production.Just out of curiosity; how come people seem so much higher on Engram than Burleson? Most... including me... will take Consistency over big play.. I rather take 7 too 8 pts a game than an all or nothing type.Consistency vs. big-play ability.Engram is Hasselbeck's security blanket, esp. on third down. agreed. in a PPR league (esp 1 PPR), consistency is what you look for over big-play ability... of course it's ideal for your WRs to be both consistent and have big-play ability, but we're talking about lower tier players here with engram and buerlson...Consistency vs. big-play ability.Engram is Hasselbeck's security blanket, esp. on third down. I think there are two major reasons why anyone may be "higher" on Engram over Burleson. The first is that, while he's starting now, Burleson is a fumble or a couple easy drops away from having Obewhathisname splitting some time with him. It may happen regardless. Engram's role, however, is defined. He'll be in the slot on basically every 3rd down getting his cheap 4-5 catches a game for 50 yards. The second reason is what it likely cost to pick each guy up as a FA. Burleson certainly will be more expensive to snag in most leagues. Engram will probably be able to be picked up for "a dollar." Unless Burleson gets those big plays everyone is talking about(which are tough to predict) he and Engram will could be looking at similar output per week, as you mentioned. That being the case, some would rather spend "a buck" to pick up Engram instead of "ten bucks" for Burleson.Just out of curiosity; how come people seem so much higher on Engram than Burleson?
