jumping the gun ??? How do they come up with these reports i wonder ???

Jeff Garcia and Jeff Gruden both denied an ESPN report that Garcia has suffered a hairline fracture in his back.
Garcia said that he is ready to go in Week 14. "I'm ready to go next week," Garcia said. "I think I'm going to be healthy enough to continue on all throughout the season." Gruden was a little more passionate in his denial:
"I just wish some of these reports were verified. (Mortensen) doesn't have a (expletive) idea what he's talking about. I can't understand why he would say that unless he got the X-rays himself." We'll see who is right in the coming days.
