I keep getting some sort of "Certificate" from the US Army when I try and see your photo, rather than the picture. Can you try and repost? :thumbup:

TV

This TV was in a "mall" in Istanbul. Selling price? $50,000. Why? It's gold plated. Did I wait for the girl to be on the TV to take the pic? Yes.

How do you go about photographing people you don't know? Do you introduce yourself and ask them before hand or do you just snap and run? Some of my favorite photos are of people I don't know just doing what they do but it's hard for me to get up the courage to ask somebody if I can take a pic of them unless I have a good excuse to be doing so. Here's a picture I took for an architecture & culture project.beating the summer heat

How do you go about photographing people you don't know? Do you introduce yourself and ask them before hand or do you just snap and run? Some of my favorite photos are of people I don't know just doing what they do but it's hard for me to get up the courage to ask somebody if I can take a pic of them unless I have a good excuse to be doing so. I usually have the same problems photographing people. I'm afraid they're going to get upset. But my latest series was shot at a street festival, so I could kind of blend into the crowd without being seen. If you're asking about legality, you're pretty much allowed to photograph anybody on public property. I'll sometimes ask as a courtesy if I go in for a close up. But I rarely have had the guts to do that.

Also, sometimes I'll give a homeless person a dollar if he lets me take his picture. That's worked out well.
