Thanks man. It was a great trip and Prague was a bit scary but very interesting. We had six inches of fresh snow on the day we arrived and that just added to the drama of the city. I shot about 500 images in two days there and about 2500 images during the two weeks of traveling.
I think I read somewhere that there is a bridge in Prague that is widely considered the center of the world (Globe)I hear the wimmins are stunning and the bier is wonderful!
St. Charles Bridge is really famous - never heard of it as being the center of the world, but it is incredibly popular place to go. I was on it in the middle of a snowstorm and it was crowded - I can only imagine how crazy it is during tourist season St. Charles BridgeI can't attest to the beauty of the women because everyone was bundled up, but the beer (pivo!) is excellent! On one night at the hotel, my brothers and sisters and I drank many many pivo and the next day the front desk clerk told me they sold more drinks in that one night than they had in the previous month combined!
yeah - very eerie indeed - I have a few shots, but to be honest it's the kind of place you go to feel the vibe and learn about what happened - I wasn't able to capture it in images at all. here's a couple shots that I did take: Entry, Gates of Hell, Ovens, I have a couple more but nothing great - spooky spooky place man... but well worth the visit.

Nikon D50. A good camera can make up for a mediocre photographer.
That's actually Hourglass where my ladyfriend competed a couple weeks ago. They only open it during competition as far as I know. You can see the orange fence at the top where they drop inNice.. Is that a Avalanche in the third one??Oh and :finger: as I have to wait until June to see mountains
You can actually see her just under the fence to the left.
Yea, with so little color and the Sun hiding most days right now B&W seems like the best way to go.

Very nice. It's gray and rainy here. :jealous:Woke up yesterday to 4-6" of new snow. The Temperature was above freezing, so I grabbed my camera and took some. Two hours after these shots the snow had fallen/Melted off the trees.

That's boring. I wanted to see some random, out of focus shots taken while you were sliding down the hill. That would have been more interesting.A story to go along with the
The hill in the picture was pure ice.
As I came around the corner at the top of the photo I slipped and fell on my butt.
The next thing I knew I was going for a ride.
At one point I was going so fast I ended up sideways and almost went into a roll.
Luckily my foot finally caught on the side and I was able to stop, catch my breath and take this shot.
Sure glad I had my camera in my backpack and I didn't fall backwards on my journey down.

Didn't have time. I went from the top to that place in less than 15 seconds. I was CRUSING! 
After taking that photo a couple weeks ago my interest was peaked so this past weekend I hiked down to the spot.I'm pretty sure it is a Log jam from the ice break-up but it is weird the way it has "piled" up.

Funny thing is I was wearing Long underwear under my hiking pants and when I got home I took off my hiking pants and my wife happened in the room at the same time and said:
"What happened to your A##??"
The green from my hiking pants had been "burned" into the a## of my long underwear.. a very nice green color too.
