Not sure if it meets your criteria of "decent", but I always stop at Melt when I'm driving through.  They have a bunch of "upscale" grilled cheese sandwiches.  I've never been letdown, been to the Mentor location probably 4-5 times now.  http://meltbarandgrilled.com/menu/melt-menu/

My assistant chef who lives in Mentor highly recommends this place. I have never been so I can't say personally. It's been over 20 years since I lived in Mentor.

That's the power of the FFA!  People representing from everywhere.  Mentor is a pretty big suburb of Cleveland.  Any NE Ohio area FBGers will likely have some insight.  My sister lives there.

Mentor has always seemed very chain heavy to me. I'd check out Downtown Willoughby instead. Just a few dollar Uber ride.
