Dion Lewis (1 Viewer)

Yeah, I think there is a visible difference in the talent gap between Lewis and Ridley vs the other respective options.

Kid is dynamic with the ball in his hands and makes their offense more dangerous. If that's how they feel about him and they viewed Ridley as essentially JAG I'm not sure their handling of Ridley's fumbling applies.

Ridley also had been established as a fumbler for some time IIRC. The benching may have been more frustration with not fixing the problem than a kneejerk reaction to any one fumble

Wow back in. Maybe because the balls aren't deflated BB is cutting them some slack.
WOW 2 threads you post the exact same thing. You really are a jealous hater. LOL
Were you born when the Pats won their first super bowl?
Can't handle a little sarcastic remark. kids like yourself shouldn't be making comments,if you can't handle a response you don't like....As for Lewis,I would hold.

Really feeling the Justin Forsett comp after today. Similar skill set and hunger with considerably more upside on this offense (hello Mr. Brady).

Gotta be leery of matchups against week teams however, where others have noted, Blount will be a loomer.

I really hope this guy takes the job and runs with it but Blount could get 20 carries against the Jags next week.

Im starting him next week. Lewis might become a 3 down back in new england. its rare since we haven't seen it in so long but he was doing everything. Even was running up the middle with power and his shiftiness is probably why belichick loves this kid. He is so quick and elusive even going up the middle

Great to see him get an opportunity. I was really high on him when he was drafted (mentioned in this thread), I thought he had run out of chances.

Next week will tell us a lot. They're going up against a soft run d. If Lewis is still heavily involved then we've got a star on our hands.

Bingo, although JAC did a pretty good job vs. JStew last week, Miller this week.

I hope this isn't setting up as a huge trap for Lewis owners but he 100% looks like the real deal. I'm sure Rex knows who he is now.

Well, that clinches that. Lewis is a lock for 20 this week. Probably get two short TDs off Brady passes just so Hoodie can stick it to him both ways.Rex is gonna know that kid's name after this one.
I'm 2 for 2 on his weekly points predictions. Let's keep it going next week with 17.

I think hes a must start next week although i think well all be pissed after the game.
I was pretty confident next week would be a Blount week. But Jacksonville held Miami to like no rushing yards, didn't watch the game though so idk the flow.
If next week isn't a Blount game then I think Blount games will be few and far between.
Its typically tough run D and the Pats just don't run it and use their Faulk/Woodhead/Vereen, but if its a soft run D they mix in the run often with their power back.

I originally had Jags, Colts, Skins, Giants, Eagles, Titans as the weeks I was pretty confident would be the power role, but Jacksonville looks legit on that side of the ball.

Even with the improvement there still aren't too many defenses and teams in general worse than the Jags. Eagles' weakness is in their pass D, their run D is stout and underrated.

Yeah he's an every week start until further notice. I though Blount would get first and second down carries this week but Lewis' role is exciting.

Only reason I have Lewis is because of Grey.

Grey missed a team meeting and was toast, Blount got suspended so feel Beli is trying to prove a point again that only Gronk and Brady are above the rules.

This is lazy analysis man.

Blount served a one game suspension for something that didn't even happen while he was a patriot.

Careful on this one. I would not anoint Lewis as the pats feature back just yet. Week 1 was without Blount. Week 2 we all knew they were facing a tough run d and we know the it's like to game plan differently each week based on opponents strengths and weaknesses.

Again, softer run d next week. Let's see if neon Dion gets the lion's share in week 3. If he does, then I'm on board with the notion of him being an every week starter.

I'm cautiously optimistic until then.

I wouldn't call the jaguars def soft

56 and 14 are the totals so far for the lead backs they've faced.
