Sitting listening to music while getting some things done on the internet (work/personal). Another "back door" song comes on, knocking at your back door. Can't be a coincidence. :ponder:

Probably a top 5 AC/DC song. Maybe top 3?

Its a pretty deep catalog - off the top of my head:

Highway to Hell
Back in Black
Thunderstruck
Whole Lotta Rosie
For Those About to Rock
Let There be Rock
TNT

I can think of several off the Back in Black album - that I will turn up when I hear them. But Dirty Deeds is a great part of their catalog.

Just from the Bonn Scott era and not already listed:

It's a Long Way to the Top
Live Wire
TNT
High Voltage
Problem Child
Girls Got Rythym
Touch Too Much
Shot Down in Flames
Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be

You could do a two-disc greatest hits list of old AC/DC and every song on it would be a banger.

#1: never realized how short the Young brothers are. Angus is a tiny 5'2".
#2: love a lot of AC/DC songs, esp the Bon Scott days and the more bluesy songs, but I hate Thunderstruck.
#3: won't make any top 10 lists but I always get a good laugh out of The Jack.

So good.

One of my favorite under the radar DC tunes is Gone Shooting, which is pretty much perfect.
I ranked them a while ago in one of our MAd countdowns.

My playlist in revers order rank 31-1

Let There Be Rock
Back In Black
Thunderstruck
Highway To Hell
Can I Sit Next To You Girl
Ride On
Jailbreak
Who Made Who
Gimme A Bullet
Rock 'n' Roll Singer
Rock And Roll Ain't Noise Pollution
High Voltage
Shot Down In Flames
Shoot To Thrill
That's The Way I Wanna Rock N Roll
It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)
Ain't No Fun (Waiting 'Round To Be A Millionaire)
Can't Stand Still
Gone Shootin'
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
Whole Lotta Rosie
If You Want Blood (You've Got It)
Girls Got Rhythm
Landslide
Crabsody In Blue
The Jack
T.N.T.
Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be
Riff Raff
Hells Bells
For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)

(Hells Bells and FTATRWSY would be higher but I just wanted to open with a couple real bangers)

48% voted something other than "great"?
This place is going to hell in a handbasket.

I had a buddy growing up that thought it was "dirty deeds and the thunder chief" when he was little. I hear that version often in my head and it is also outstanding.

Can't leave "Whole lotta Rosie" out!

Missed this. Thank God the poll didn’t end.

Gotta vote “great” on this one. Their best song, in my humble and not overwhelmingly exposed opinion. I’ve heard quite a few albums by them and probably most songs of the Bon Scott era.

“TNT” is probably a close second.

Definitive version.
Floppinho age 9. Kid on bass is now in the band, Geese.

I love this so much!
Thanks, gb!

He's 17 now, has been at Juilliards precollege on percussion for 3 years and has increased his skills on a kit a ton.

But that's still my favorite performance of his.

That is awesome! Is he planning to go to music school for college? Or just tour the country in a van with his band - that would be killer too!!

Looking at dual programs between music schools and standard schools. He's doing a 5 week program at Berklee right now.. they're linked with Harvard and have some stuff going with MIT too. Would be insane if he got into any of those... But he'd have to get into Berkelee too to do the program.

Wife and I would love for him to be in a band and try that out. The music kids at his HS aren't into the same things he is, which makes that hard.

Geese (tha bass player from his 9yo video) we're all buddies in HS and thought they'd be going off to college when the band broke. That would be pretty epic
