I play most at Pinchot State Park in Lewisberry, PA. There are 2 courses there. One is ridiculously difficult. One is just plain difficult. They are commonly referred to as 'big Pinchot' and 'little Pinchot'. At least by my friends. I normally play the little course. All par 3's...
So yeah, I didn't know anything about anything and went like 3 years ago to purchase a few discs.
Went back (lol) 3 years later this past Friday with just that Innova Leopard3 Champion Fairway Driver and Innova Aria Putt/Approach
Safe to say I struggled getting the disc even close to the holes on my drives (course has at least 3 400 footers) with a 7 speed disc (Fairway driver, I'm good I thought)
So naturally I watched like 2 hours of youtube to get re learn some stuff bc I know the high speed stuff you really gotta know how to throw a disc
Bounced around between Sports Basement, Big 5, Play it again Sports and Dicks and man, ****'s was unimpressive with their selection (only innovo), Play It Again's stuff was BEAT UP, Big 5 was pretty lame too - Sports Basement a chain? Just opened up and they had a really decent selection of brands and disc types
So I came away with 2 more and I guess I still need to add either a Mako or Buzzz as that 5 speed mid
Distance: Innova Star Wraith 11/5/-1/3
and
Fairway Driver: Innova Halo Sidewinder 9/5/-3/1
First hole on the same course ripped the Sidewinder, landed within 10-15 feet of Hole 1, where on Friday I was a good 70-100 feet short b/c I was using that Leapard3 (lol)
That -3 is DEFINITELY what I need to get back into things with re learning how to properly throw
Was scared of tossing that Wraith until hole 5 which is a bomb uphill 420 foot so really didn't care too much of "losing it"
Man, I'm so back lol
