Just kidding about the subheading, of course, but I thought the game plan last night was awful.
Can someone please explain to me why we didn't see more of Deuce in the backfield with Bush in the slot at the same time? Seemed like an obvious mismatch for the Saints. Brackett and Morris are average, slow LBs. Neither can cover Bush one on one, so Reg would tie up Sanders or a nickel back.
If the Colts respect Bush as a WR with a nickel package, then you run Deuce down their throats. If they don't, then you exploit the mismatch of Bush vs a LB or safety.
Reg is a hybrid RB/WR and last night they tried to use him as mostly just an RB. Unless they get past this stubborn stance, Bush owners are gonna be very frustrated this season.
Best use = 20 carries for Deuce, 10-12 carries and 6-10 catches for Bush. Where you at, Sean???

I agree though, Colts D is not that good. Especially when Brees was averaging like 6 yards a pass until 2:00 of garbage time.
