Disney Infinity (1 Viewer)

Our Wii is erroring out and looks like it needs a new disc drive. I could replace the drive but I thought I'd check to see if anyone has a used Wii console in decent shape they're not using and are willing to sell or barter?

I think more adults like Star Wars than kids do. If I polled my classroom and said what do you like better 'Teen Titans' or 'Star Wars'? Teen Titans would win.

I also think as a game the whole thing sort of sucks. I was not impressed at all with the playsets (we got 1 and 2) and the toy box world was laggy and practically would take an expert to build anything really cool. We have about 20 or so figures currently collecting dust somewhere.

The Lego thing that is coming out might be cool...Lego games are way more fun than any DI crap out so far, so if they can translate those games and then even add to it it would be cool to see.

Yeah, this was quite the money sink. 11 year old Daughter has pretty much all the 1.0 figures and when 2.0 came out we started getting those for her as well. She hasn't touched the game in over 6 months and last night said, "When can we move these two cases of figures out of my room."

Don't think we will be jumping on the 3.0 bandwagon.

I want v3 with all the Star Wars figures, but v1 and v2 were pretty much a flop with my kids, so it looks like I'm walking away from the infinity thing till they get interested in it again.

Sort of shocked, having not played it as my kids are still too young this was something I was thinking I would be forming tons of money into.

Shocked they couldn't sell that division, maybe they will just license out to someone who is in that space.

Meh

we never even bought 3.0.  Kids enjoyed 2.0 for awhile and I think will play it from time to time but won't be missed.  They're more into tablet games and Roblox and watching YouTube videos of other gamers

the biggest rub for me was that you had to buy a new console/platform for each new release...and they was barely a year apart in releases. So they teased you with all these great characters for $20, but sorry...cant use them without investing another $80 into it.` It just got to the point where it wasn't worth it. Never made it to 3.0 even though there was some really cool characters we wanted.

+1

Both of my boys ere into it at first.  By the time 2.0 came around, my oldest's interested waned.  My youngest stayed with it, but now it's lost it's edge with him as well.

I know they're not making any more new games but Toys R Us has a great deal on characters and play sets. I don't have 2.0 or 3.0 but they are super cheap and could easily fill out a collection or just get the characters you want.

out of the blue, my kids book this out over the weekend. Prob have not touched it in over 10 months. I was like  :wall:
