Kinda agree. Not a big fan ...especially at $10 or so - and that was a long time ago.I remember the turkey legs being tough and awful. never again
any opinions on pop century?
I dig the turkey legs a lot, but I just get them once per trip. Like you said, too many good places to eat.Kinda agree. Not a big fan ...especially at $10 or so - and that was a long time ago.
At Disney or country fairs. Too many other way good stuff to eat.

Package includes one (1) buffet meal, reserved seating for Rivers of Light show.

As you can see it looks like the Disney IT got lazy and basically copy/pasted the info from RoL, it still mentions it in the Tusker House info
I would consider your kids eating habits too. Mine (twin 4-yo when we went) are picky as hell (basically nuggets, fries, hot dogs and PB&J). We just stopped when they were hungry and ordered 2 kids meals. They rarely finished them all, and I never ordered for myself and ate their leftovers...then just picked up something for myself along the way at some point.Total noob question but why do you have to plan your food stops? Seems like a ton of places to eat.
Neither cool nor an invasion for me. Just kinda....dumbSo it looks like Space Mountain and Toy Story Midway Mania both got StoryMaker Updates

For those who may not know, StoryMaker is a part of the NextGen project, which is based off the info stored on your Magic Bands. It's intended to personalize some parts of the ride by knowing your name, hometown, birthdays, etc. Right now, they are using it like above where it will show your name on screens on the line or in the attraction. But the hope is to have certain talking characters know this info to more personalize the interactions.
right now, other StoryMaker locations include the goodbye scene from Small World, hitchhiking ghosts from HM, and some interactive posters on the line for Everest and Rockin Roller Coaster.
Some people find it cool, while others find it creepy and an invasion of privacy....thoughts?
Haven't seen it, either. In Hawaii it's known as "POG juice". Maybe searching on that term will help.I'm not sure if this has ever been asked in this thread before, but does anyone have a line on where you can buy the "jungle juice" they serve at Ohana and Tusker House for breakfast? That stuff rocks. I've read that it's passion/orange/guava and that it's made by Minute Maid, but I've never seen it in stores.
Fascinating article. Surprised that Disney approached Buffett about doing a Margaritaville in Downtown Disney in the 1990s, but that was also the era of Pleasure Island so while off-brand for Disney it was on-brand for Downtown.Parrots aint just for the Tiki Room.....Jimmy Buffet is building a Margaritaville Resort and Community right outside Disney.
My wife did this too. She makes cupcakes frequently for work and other parties.....think this is her biggest hit.My wife recently attempted to re-create "the grey stuff" frosting served at Be Our Guest. It was a mix of vanilla pudding mix, chocolate pudding mix, Oreos, Cool Whip, and milk. So obviously this is geared towards health-conscious eating.
Don't know if it was an exact replica, but it was pretty good as a frosting on top of a chocolate cupcake.
I'm won't be going to Uni for a few more years with the kids being too young IMO, but I don't deny that I crave a Cheeseburger in Paradise as soon as I start thinking of going to Orlando. Its been 16+ years since I went there, but I still claim it was prob the best burger (up till then) that I ever had.Fascinating article. I've walked right by the Margaritaville at Universal many, many times. Never stopped in. I'm sure a younger, less married, less parent version of myself would enjoy hanging out there a great deal.
Do you like yours with lettuce and tomato, Heinz 57 and french fried potatoes, a big kosher pickle and a cold draft beer?I'm won't be going to Uni for a few more years with the kids being too young IMO, but I don't deny that I crave a Cheeseburger in Paradise as soon as I start thinking of going to Orlando. Saratoga is our home resort. We like it a lot. One of the biggest benefits is the ability to walk to Downtown Disney aka Disney Springs. We stayed there last year for a couple nights while we waited for our Bay Lake room to open up.
It's ok, pretty big place. They have boats that take you over to downtown disney.
For the amount of time you spend in the rooms or the resort, it really isn't a bad option.
effers. I had to stay up to 12, everyone should have toFP+ booking times have changed today.
Before today, you were able to make your FP+'s at 12 am 60 days from check in, however now it has changed to 7am.
So go to sleep early and set the alarm.
I guess there will always be something down.Just learned that Dinosaur at AK is going down for a lengthy refurb at the end of July through the end of September 2016.
Timing is odd, b/c another thrill attraction (Big Thunder) will be down at the same time roughly (beginning Aug 8th).
It also falls during my next trip![]()

I know Dino needs a lot of work and glad its getting some love. I hear Everest is next, so that when Avatar opens, the park will be in the best shape it can. However, I find the summer an odd time to take down 2 pretty popular E-tickets. I wonder if the new mindset (and pricing structure) of trying to get people NOT to come in the summer/busier months has anything to do with this?
IDK...but at least this year, now both my kids will be disappointed lol....my daughter loves BTMRR and my son loves Dino. Sucks to be them.
forgot to comment on this....no, you should be fine. The only thing on the rebuff list for December is the Wilderness Lodge construction. Not sure if anything will be down around Christmas???? The new Frozen ride at Epcot should be up.
I dont drink but these sound good. Ill stick to ice creamglvsav37 said:YES!!!! Beaches & Cream at Yacht & Beach club is now serving........
....wait for it........
Adult Milkshakes!!
Five Adult Hard Floats and Milkshakes make up the main menu, featuring a S’mores Shake, the Classic Root Beer Float, a Grasshopper Float, a Tropical Sunrise Float, and a Stout Float.
I have an ADR for them this year, and between the Kitchen Sink and these, my head may explode and ice cream will be coming out my ears.
Loved Narcoossee. One of the best meals I've ever had. The waitress was pretty obviously new, so that kinda sucked, but the meal itself was great.Trying to plan meals, anyone have any strong feelings on Citricos vs Narcoossee?
Looks like they are FINALLY getting on the ball with the stuff for AK night entertainment.FastPass+ and dining packages for Disney’s Animal Kingdom night experiences will become available beginning tomorrow, May 21.
really wished my wife liked it better there. I would def use the Epcot day for AKLooks like they are FINALLY getting on the ball with the stuff for AK night entertainment.
shame...its a great park. Its our #2 right now, given the extended hours and the slimmed down studios. Its biggest issue is that people don't slow down there and appreciate the details. It has had the 1/2 day park stigma for so long that people only look at the attractions. Its not an easy park...layout is a bit confusing and spread out (conservation station...hello), but we generally do 2 days there.really wished my wife liked it better there. Especially if the new frozen ride is not open by then
ETA: That site has frozen opening on june 21st. After our trip. Hmmm. But that would mean ditching Cape May and Im not sure I want to do that
My wife said whatever I want. But if I did this, I would have to ditch all the FP made at Epcot and hope they have stuff at AK left along with the dinner and show option. Also need to look back up and see when the 7:00am startsshame...its a great park. Its our #2 right now, given the extended hours and the slimmed down studios.
