I don't question the righteousness of penalties.  I just play within the rules of the game.

Probably so it doesn't fool the defense into thinking they need to cover him.  

Or in case he wants to come in and tell them a funny joke that will motivate them to play loose on the next play.

Yeah if you think about it, that somehow counts the same as taunting/getting in a dude's face. One more and he'll be out. That penalty needs to be recategorized.

Yeah cheap shot to a guys head = 15 yards.  Bailing out of a huddle and going to the sidelines = 15 yards.  Makes a lot of sense.

No but he's their best chance to come in, settle them down, and keep pace.  We all know Dallas doesn't blitz much and as hot a Rodgers has been, he's going to carve them up and keep scoring.  Dallas' only chance is keep up. 

Dallas wins this game by getting even and then controlling clock.  Can't do that if they fall behind 10 or so and do no better than they have so far.
