Hard to say, as Tony noted, before the front office and coaching questions are settled, but I have very low expectations for Dizon right now.Is it possible that Dizon can still translate his productive college numbers into an every-down role in the NFL and that it was Rod Marinelli's bias against playing rookies in important positions that held him back?Sure. However, the fact that Dizon had trouble beating out Buster Davis for a backup role, never got a look over the likes of Alex Lewis, Ryan Nece and Paris Lenon during a season easily considered lost by mid-October and couldn't stay healthy in a reserve/special teams role are very poor signs for his future. Add in the odds that the team will move away from a scheme that's been more favorable for smaller linebackers and that Dizon's primary supporters in the front office are gone and I'd be looking to rid myself of him for anything of value.
