DO NOT SIT GUYS FOR WEATHER TONIGHT (1 Viewer)

Alright, no screwing around fellas, what is the weather really like over there? Us west coast people are still stuck at work with no NFL network.
yeah, no more screwing around here. Is Heath Miller gonna catch a touchdown or not!!?? Seriously, is he or not?
he might
Ummm, I'm benching Heath Miller for.....ah to hell with it....should I start this loser or jermichael?
Finley

Terrible.
Yeah, i live about 50 miles away from PITTS and i don't even want to go outside today/tonight because of the wind and cold. I don't even want to imagine how it feels at a place 50 miles north of here with stronger winds AND is on the water? Any guy out there tonight without sleeves on is a TMFer!

What does the wind look like on TV? :loco:
Nothing...Ward was running around and his clothes don't even looked ruffled.
With those baggy uniforms, I'm sure that's a good indicator, ty. :goodposting:
it was a sweatsuit... and i thought the same thing (about it not looking like the wind was blowing hard on the field)...i need to see an "on the field" report.... not just what the weather is like in the area.... i know it's cold and windy, but how much does the stadium damper that?

I was at the MNF game last year in Cleveland when they played Pitt (super high winds). You couldn't even walk straight, Beer was flying out of the cups, stuff was flying around everywhere. It's worse tonight.

That's it - I've decided to go with Ben/Holmes. You have to figure that the wind and Pitt defense will give the offense the ball in great field position (close to midfield, or better) at least 2-3 times. Factor in that they can run the ball to set up the pass, and it's all good.

Good luck to all.

Finley is tearing it up, how do you bench him?

I have benched mendenhall and holmes in one league where I have decent options. Harrison sits on the bench in two leagues with equal-better options. Playing mendenhall over harrison in one league without other decent options. Picked up CLE defense and will roll with them in one league over BUF.

Blow wind blow!

5.4...1.6...0...0...0...5.4...2.5...19.9----not sure if this is tearing it up!? But Miller has been even worse as of late.

The zeros are when he was hurt my man, not fair to post that.He has 24 targets in 3 weeks, Buck Rodgers loves the guy, and I look for targets in predicting the future. In my leagues he has 12, 5, and 26...you are slighting Finley's explosion by no counting his catches...I get it that you are not in a PPR league but he had 2 TDs last week and in non PPR leagues that should get your attention...add in the targets, number of catches, he has a better chance to score IMHO...

Well said. Miller on the pine....

I'm gonna try and land the plane since it is close to kick off.

I believe Big Ben will outplay the 25 spot this week he is being slated for.

Santonio Holmes will get loose...this guy has 15, 15, 15, 19, and 28 the past 5 weeks...you gotta play him...go down swinging and benching him for Micahel Crabtree doesn't seem to be goin down swinging to me.

Mendy should be started without question...Pitt will have some short fields to work with, seems like Mendy is the best option onthe menu tonight. Edward, what do you think of that?

I am warming up to Harrison a bit more although he has much better match ups the next 2 weeks. Let's say 50-60 yds, 2-3 receptions, 40% chance of a TD? Low double digits in PPR leagues perhaps.

Most aren't rolling with Quinn and or Massaquoi tonight but I would not be surprised if they surprised just a bit tonight.

Good Luck everyone, from the bottom of my FF soul I hope you guys make the right decisions and kick ### this weekend, that starts tonight.

Look at it this way, even if you bench someone tonight you have a coupel days to figure out the weekend games. I think all players that you all use tonight have some risk becuase it costs you a bullet in the chamber sort of speak. Good Luck ALL!!!

RT @daverichard SOURCE AT BROWNS STADIUM: 'The wind if blowing like crazy. The flag is really whipping and I got REALLY cold from the wind walking in!'

once you all accept the fact that whatever decision you make will be wrong, you'll be a lot happier.
 Made my fantasy football seasons much better after this realization about a decade ago. Running with Santonio tonight, should actually be a good game now that Pitt has fallen to the Browns level.Signed, Eagles Fan.

wpxisports twitter.

1. Bill:So much wind in cleveland tonight Ben Roethlisberger finished his warm-ups inside the stadium just outside the steelers room 5 minutes ago from mobile web

I benched him. Started him. Benched. Start. Ultimately on the bench (for Braylon Edwards). Holmes should be good for 2 TDs for you.

I go with the opposite of whatever Millen says.

sigh he's had too many bad games, and now ward is playing. Had started him over MSW/Jennings/forte (PPR lite .5 ppr RB) Ben could go out, and this seems more like a mia-whoever (dallas?) game in london a few years back than one with "slipping D's leading to big gains)

Hope I am right

Zeus help any guy who has to start a kicker tonight

Millen knows his #### as a color guy. In fact all he ever says is how you need to build a team from the Line out (OL/DL). He just didnt do that when he actually tried to build a team. But he's a former NFL'r and I'd say hes qualified to judge "intangibles" lke this, even if he may go down as the worst GM of all time.

I don't know who it was that said to star the pitt d because they'd be playing angry tonight, but next week they're going to be REALLY angry.

I know it is only halftime, but benched Ben and feeling good about my decision so far. Too bad my backups really suck.

Of course, Ben could throw for two scores in the second half and make this post look stupid.

ugh, hope you guys sat your steelers. Though it looks like the weather is only a small part of their lack of performance. I haven't seen a steerler team play this poorly against this poor an opponent my whole life!

Greetings everyone,

I was watching the game downstairs, wanted to take it all in before I posted. I certinly am never above eating some well deserved crow but I do have a question for the SP if you would be so kind.

What did the weather have to do with Big Ben absorbing 8 sacks tonight? That OL should be fired. If a RB can be benched for fumbling, what do you do with this OL? Did Big Ben hold the ball too long? Why couldn't they run on Cleveland?

I didn't see 1 pass, not 1 punt, not 1 FG attempt either where "wind" made a dang bit of difference. Are you all going to tell me that if this game was played in my home city of Miami that the outcome would have been much different?

Just curious...oh and please pass the crow, thanks.

then you haven't watched many steeler games...disclaimer:I'm a diehard steeler fan since the early 70's

The weather changed the game plan. Do you recall any ANY(!) throws downfield? Rob Ryan used the wind to his advantage & gameplanned short ball.
