Is anyone in your line of work 100% correct about everything 100% of the time?I noticed this last year with Eic Karabell from ESPN and vowed never to listen to him again. This week old Eric said sit Colsten & Santana Moss....and he gets paid for that.
I disagreeThe guy is a playmaker period. Sure he will not put up those numbers every week but he is a threat evertime he touches the ball. Look at his numbers last year and remember that that offense is still trying to adapt to Saunders playbook.Moss is too inconsistnet. If you keep him in your lineup every week, you will be disapointed. He'll have 1 big game every 4 or 5 games. If I owned Moss, I'd trade him this week while his stock is high.
If it's a TD only league then yeah but if not Moss is pretty consistent in putting up yardage, he's a focal point in that offense.Moss is too inconsistnet. If you keep him in your lineup every week, you will be disapointed. He'll have 1 big game every 4 or 5 games. If I owned Moss, I'd trade him this week while his stock is high.
Except with Karabell you're lucky if he's correct 10% of the time.Is anyone in your line of work 100% correct about everything 100% of the time?I noticed this last year with Eic Karabell from ESPN and vowed never to listen to him again. This week old Eric said sit Colsten & Santana Moss....and he gets paid for that.
See, this guy gets it.I think for myself. I just wish we had a place where I could pat myself on the back for it.It's not so much of listening to the "experts" too much. Its just a lack of listening to yourself.
What happened to the days where you drafted a team based on your OWN cheatsheets, set lineups weekly on your OWN thinking.
The problem is you rely on everyone else to tell you who to play or sit. So what's the fun. Follow injury reports and maybe look at "Game Log" history's and see how a player generally does against that team.
If you lose you blame the "experts", so when you win i doubt you thank them.
Learn to manage a team by yourself w/o reliance on people feeding you who to play.....otherwise, you can't claim a championship if they tell you what to do weekly!
And how does that impact their fantasy knowledge?A lot of the guys that are so called "experts" make less per hour in the real world than you do.(not the money is everything but you get the point)

I guess if you are looking to "experts' to make your decisions for you, none of these three things applies. If you're intelligent, knowledgable and have a proven track record trust your own instincts, but take trusted sources' opinions into account.
It impacts all of us...I read an analysis from KC Joyner about how Marques Colston would be shut down this week because of facing Chris Gamble one on one all day, and almost benched him in two of my most important leagues. But then I remembered that KC Joyner once tried to tell a crowd of people in Pittsburgh that Torry Holt wasn't that special a receiver and that Kassim Osgood was the breakout sleeper of the year.
