Last year we were up at the Christmas Farm Inn in Jackson N.H. in a supposedly haunted room (salt box). There were a few little weird things in that room that we noticed in retrospect, but one incident stood out.
On two different occasions during our first night there, my head was lightly banging against the wall while I slept. I was dreaming that a kid that lived in the room wanted some sort of attention from me or to play. As I had just got back from a long day at Santa's Village with my own kids, I wanted him to just leave me alone. He kept tapping my head to annoy me in the dream but I was so tired I ignored him. I finally woke up to find my head lightly banging into the wall next to the bed while I was half sitting up in a weird position. I wasn't spooked at all and even thought it was a ghost kid then. I was so tired thought that I didn't even care.
The next morning I was debating on telling my wife about the dream as I showered. Before I had a chance to tell her, she said that she had woke up the night before, to see me banging my head against the wall while I slept. She said it was weird but she figured I was dreaming or something. She tried yelling over to me but didn't want to wake the kids so she fell asleep (nice, huh). I was on the bed across from her. As soon as she said that I started laughing and she knew.
Stuff like this has happened before to me and my wife really thinks I am a medium or something. Dead family members and people do come talk to me in my sleep, but I think they are just very emotional dreams. Usually I wake up crying and exhausted from them.
Anyway, on the second night of our visit the same thing happened to me. I didnt remember anything but my wife saw the whole thing and woke me up. I was in a different bed with her the second night. She was a little freaked, out but the worst case for me was that it was some annoying ghost kid who just wanted to play. Anyway, it was all probably just a dream.
