What is your opinion on drinking soda like Pepsi or Coke?  When was the last time you had a soda or pizza hut?

No.  don't keep it in the house but will have a glass every few months if I'm at a kid party and there is nothing else.  5 min later and I immediately remember why I stopped drinking it.

I do not. Never liked it and never drink it. The only bad part was when I was a kid and they never had anything but soda. I was always asking for water (before the bottled water craze) and would be the only kid doing that.

I feel lucky that I hate it, to be honest.

I drink pop but not very often. mainly when I go out to eat or when at a movie theater. I rarely drink pop at home.

I used to drink it all the time.  I stopped maybe 10 years ago and drink water or lenonade now.

A couple times a year.

Flat coke towards the end of a marathon is magic.

You edited the question!

Junk food - yeah, with rare exception anyone saying they don't is lying.

Have a diet coke maybe once every other week. Used to probably have one a day.

I'm still a sucker for a huge fountain soda DC especially when hungover.

My old job used to have a fridge stocked with all kinds of sodas. That was bad...would usually knock off a DC with lunch and follow it up with a diet root beer or cream soda later jb the afternoon.

Zero fast food/junk food, eat crap once a month maybe (usually Burger King or Doritos).

However, I easily down 5-7 12oz cans of diet Dr Pepper daily (usually also drink a 10-calorie Monster per day). I refuse to drink my calories.

Not a big soda drinker--maybe have a small/medium fountain Diet Coke once a month at most.   I do tend to patron fast food places relatively often--I'd say maybe once a week or so.     My goal is to cut that down--as I tend to go for the fast food out of convenience. I actually got inspired last week reading the slow cooker thread--I picked one up---and I'm trying it for the first time today.  I should have slow cooker beef and broccoli when I get home tonight.  Fingers crossed.

I'm a water/unsweetened Ice Tea junkie but will occasionally have a soda.  My food weakness is Dim Sum.  Crave that all the time.

I don't keep soda in my place. I'll have one every couple weeks eating out, usually a bottled root beer. I don't do fast food, but I do eat pizza once a week. I certainly wouldn't say I'm a good eater, even though I'm skinny, but I think it makes a big difference to just do something once a week rather than daily.

Unless it's alcohol or post workout I generally don't drink my calories.

But I eat them. Whenever my metabolism slows down my junk food habit will catch up to me.

Hardly ever, but I have had pizza hut thin crust in the last month and stopped at Tommy's for a chili dog and diet pepsi after the Laker game last night.  Everything is fine in moderation.  Weird, I used to drink a lot of diet pepsi but now I don't.  Usually iced tea or if I want carbonation I'll do the flavored sparkling water drinks.  Perrier too.  Don't know if has the same effect or not.

Jack and Cokes occasionally when at casino or on a plane and got upgraded. No soda with food unless it's a BBQ or something. Every so often a Coke sounds great but don't keep in the house. Don't think I have ever drank a Mountain Dew.

Love potato chips. My main weakness junk food wise.

Occasional McD's and Taco Bell.

Before I started doing a low-carb diet, I would drink a lot of lemonade. Basically, lemonade was my "soda." I would drink a ton of it. There's a brand called "Calipso" (sp?) that's amazing. I got a bottle when I was visiting New Orleans. Haven't seen it in Texas, however.

Of course I can't drink it now because it's full of carbs and sugar, so I mainly stick to water and diet drinks (mainly diet Dr Pepper & diet Snapple).

As far as junk food is concerned, if I'm going to eat something unhealthy like a burger and fries or fried chicken I'd rather make it myself. A homemade burger with fresh cut fries is better than anything you can buy.

If I'm really craving a nice burger and don't feel like making one, whataburger it is.

Stuff like twinkies, snack cakes, those little fake pies, cookies and (some) chips are all gross and I get so confused when I see people with their grocery basket full of that crap. Most of the ingredients aren't even real food I bet.

Clean during the week ...Pizza on football Sunday, no soda/pop ever. I prefer my bad habits to actually provide a benefit

I don't really drink soda anymore. Maybe once a month at work when just feel like I need the calories. Many days, I don't eat anything until about 4:00 in the afternoon. Sometimes, I'll sneak something in, but it's always before 9AM. I haven't eaten anything between 9AM and 4PM in a very long time.

That's where the junk food comes in. I can do some serious damage to a bag of chips late at night. Though, lately, I've been so tired, I fall asleep at 8:00, so I never really get around to my late night salty junk food binge. I used to tear into the junk food sometimes between 4 and 8. But I enjoy making dinner (and drinking a #### load of beer in the process) so much that I don't like to ruin it.

I can't say any of this is healthy, but I've lost about 30 pounds since starting work in a restaurant despite 5-10 beers everyday.

I've got a couple people on the staff that keep trying to lose weight. I keep trying to sell them of the health benefits of working balls the wall, constantly moving, not sitting down, not taking breaks and eating only what you can scarf down over a trash can in under 20 seconds once a day. No dice yet though, and I can't legally require that, I don't think.
