Just wondering...
If one came up to me in a dark alley, yes I would take them seriously.

I agree with you. I don't know when tattoos became cool. When I was growing up the only people I met that had tattoos were Marines and junkies. If one came up to me in a dark alley, yes I would take them seriously.![]()
Any tat is horrible, but these are amongst the worst
If it's just a teardrop, I'm fine with it. Especially if you are with Fidelity. No way I'd take a neck tattoo serious. My financial adviser has a face tat, though.
exactlySeriously if they are applying for a corporate job or seriously if they are in a dark alley and claim they want to hurt me. :shuked:
F'n debutantes.Just because you live in a safe, sanitized, and boring little world where most of your men friends probably wear guy liner doesn't mean that there isn't another world inhabited by rough men that you just wouldn't understand or fit into.
You have an open invite to join me at the next gathering with my brothers in my MC, 100% of whom are tatted, many with full sleeves. I'll buy you a beer and a shot for each one of them you tell how "stupid" they look. You have to buy me a beer and a shot for each one that knocks out one of your teeth.
You're too much of a debutant to get a sleeve, and you feel uncomfortable around people who don't run in the same little metro circles that you do. Fine. I get it. Why the hatred of people who choose to live a different (and probably better) life than you though?
(Full disclosure: No sleeve. Yet. Just a single arm band with my MC's name in it on one arm, and the other shoulder inked with the unit I served with in Iraq. You wouldn't understand that group of men either.)
Fair enough same rules except a room full of hiring managers and a guy who someone scribbled on.Just because you live in a safe, sanitized, and boring little world where most of your men friends probably wear guy liner doesn't mean that there isn't another world inhabited by rough men that you just wouldn't understand or fit into.

Been around too long to really call it some new trend or something. Tattoos 20 years ago were only slight less sought-after as they are today.I agree with you. I don't know when tattoos became cool.
Signaling to the world that you're a dork?I'm thinking of getting one that looks like a bow tie. That way I get all the advantages of a bow tie without having to learn how to tie one.
Get it on your taint. That would be the shark move.I'm thinking of getting one that looks like a bow tie. That way I get all the advantages of a bow tie without having to learn how to tie one.
As a enjoyer of pornography, I wholeheartedly disagree, next you are going to tell ladies were always into shaving their nether regions.Been around too long to really call it some new trend or something. So paying someone to put ink on your body is a condition precedent to being a tough guy?Just because you live in a safe, sanitized, and boring little world where most of your men friends probably wear guy liner doesn't mean that there isn't another world inhabited by rough men that you just wouldn't understand or fit into.

Do I qualify as an inked up tough guy?So paying someone to put ink on your body is a condition precedent to being a tough guy?
you can typically tell just by looking at itHow do you know it isnt a birthmark?
My best paralegal has a neck tattoo. As professional a woman as you'll find. She's Puerto Rican, and I'm told it's more common in their culture.I see all kinds of tattoos and weird piercings on a pretty regular basis and don't think much of it. It's kind of a hipster thing I think.
Neck tattoos are a bit different though. I don't see too many of those on professional people.
