when your roster mistakes don't cost you the game? I mean, losing is never fun, but it feels way worse when someone on your bench would've won your matchup.
the ONLY time i get upset after a loss is when its due to a bad lineup decision.when your roster mistakes don't cost you the game? I mean, losing is never fun, but it feels way worse when someone on your bench would've won your matchup.
Starting the best lineup every week doesn't help if all your WRs on your roster combine for <30 pts every week.when your roster mistakes don't cost you the game? I mean, losing is never fun, but it feels way worse when someone on your bench would've won your matchup.
This. As long as I felt okay with who I started, then no problem. In fact, I am happy when my bench does well, because that means I have depth and I start a certain player the following week if need be.the ONLY time i get upset after a loss is when its due to a bad lineup decision.when your roster mistakes don't cost you the game? Nope. I never ever pay attention to projections.I do this every time. I see that I am projected to win by 50. So I tell myself this morning, its ok to start Chris Johnson over Randall Cobb. I always try to cute and think people need to see a guy in my line up go off instead of my bench, just so maybe I can get some trade offers. It could have cost me. I do that crap every time. Every time I am projected to win big, I wind up barely winning. Does this happen to you guys?
I don't think I've ever looked at a projection -- those are made up numbers.I do, however, sometimes try to ballpark gauge my chances for various micromanaging purposes.I do this every time. 4 Made FGs is not performing? you had to have gotten around 11 pts for that.I always select the correct lineup. I get pissed when my players don't perform. Like Matt Bryant missing 2 FG's tonight and ATL not giving him the opportunity to attempt a 53-yard FG in the 1st half.
Yeah that burns me too, although this week it finally worked in my favor in one league when I picked up and played Golden Tate in desperation. I can survive benching a guy thinking he wont do anything for good reasons only to watch him put up good stats on my bench (like CJ?K against the Bears #1 Run D). Even though I miss out on the points there's the satisfaction of seeing one of your guys perform well against the odds. What kills me is when I start that same player the following week in total confidence and he only puts up 3 friggin points for me. 99% chance that'll happen if I start CJ against MIA next week...Then I look at guys with squadoosh on their bench and they have to play people or pick guys up last minute and they play their best game of the year. That is frustrating as well.
Agreed. Losing because my team just wasn't very good that week doesn't bother me at all. Losing because I benched the wrong guy but had good reasons for the choice gets me a little annoyed, but not much. Losing because I made an idiotic roster decision (or even worse, left the wrong guy in by accident) gets me infuriated.'shadyridr said:the ONLY time i get upset after a loss is when its due to a bad lineup decision.'BlueBlazer05 said:when your roster mistakes don't cost you the game?
