Does anyone get the feeling (1 Viewer)

Seems like there are a ton of studs (especially QB's who are struggling).

Brady

Rodgers

Brees

Stafford

That's 4 out of the 5 elite..............

For some reason this year fantasy football doesn't seem to be as much fun. Are the elite offences going to get on track anytime soon? Makes for some boring fantasy weeks when Dalton, Reggie Bush, Weeden are the top producers.

And yeah I know there are some studs that produced (Nicks, Cruz, Eli) but for the most part seems pretty quiet these days.

No breakout players yet with the exception of Spiller (Who was likely drafted in most leagues). Still waiting for this year's Victor Cruz!!!!

RGIII is the leading performer in my leagues.

Spiller is the leading RB in my PPR.

Danny Amendola is the leading WR in my PPR

Seems like some pretty nice breakouts there...

I don't think we can overlook the refs here as well. Defenders are realizing they can unload on guys, some of the hits yesterday were brutal. I am sure these refs on some level are in awe of the whole thing going on around them...can you imagine going from High School to suddenly watching Calvin Johnson line up in front of you or Tom Brady dropping back in the pocket now. I was watching sideline refs looking up into the stands yesterday at times. I am not saying it's the only reason or 50% of the reason but it is playing some part IMO.

I also believe what we saw last year had a lot to do with virtually no off season and no meaningful training camp.

2-0 and having survived Aaron Rodgers rough-ish start, I know what you mean. I'm ready for him to start destroying some defenses.

Unfortunately, MNF in Week 3 at Qwest field is probably not going to be the best medicine.

Seems inconsistent. Jeremy Kerley is a top 20 WR right now.

Brees has gone over 300 yards both games and Brady went over 300 this week as well. Agree that there have been other breakouts as well. Seems fairly normal IMO. You had your week 1 receivers who exploded and then did nothing week 2 like always. The big bad offenses come out of the gate sputtering, also basically par for the course. So this seems about right to me.

let's see:

Did a Week 1 stud go M.I.A. in Week 2? Check (Ogletree, Hill, etc)

Have the patriots dropped an early season turd against a team no body thought would beat them? Check

Have totally random defensive players completely up-ended the balance in various games, putting up stats they will never see again? Check

Has Chris Johnson spawned a dozen rant threads? Check

has a real-life NFL team done EXACTLY the oppositie of what the entire univers predicted? (Saints & Cardinals) Check

Seems like every other year I have played FF to me, so far. It will even out.

last year and so far this year my interest in FF in going down. I use to feel like I was "good" at FF. Now, I feel like each week is a crapshoot more than ever and the "luck factor" is now heavily outweighing the "skill factor." Don't have any numbers to back up my statement...just a feeling.

It does feel like a wierd year so far, even apart from the fantasy context. Outside of the 49ers and maybe the Texans, I would feel very uncomfortable picking any division winners at this point. Maybe it's not any different from other years, but it feels different for some reason.

been feeling the same way this year haha... i think things will even out.. first 3 weeks are always the hardest...and based mostly on luckafter that we start to see trends, and where we have skill that others in the league don't.. we take advantage of waiver wire pick ups, make better line up decisions, and overall our fantasy teams usually consistently play better
