Does Duckett to Washington effect Mike Bell (1 Viewer)

OK, so Denver wants rid of Lelie. Atlanta wants Lelie and has Duckett to offer. Rather than take Duckett the Broncos brought in a third team and got a third round pick instead. Is that right?

So my question is, does this mean Denver is happy with Bell, Bell and Dayne? They must have felt that Mike Bell is a better fit than Duckett right?

Duckett is a big back from a similar offense and they pass to stick with what they have. Is it because they just don't feel Duckett was a good fit or that what they had was better?

I have heard the Moats rumors and that looked possible before Lelie was dealt but that would probably appear dead now right? I never heard that Philly was interested anyway, just that Denver was...

Just looking to make a little sense of this, any opinions or info is appreciated.

This reads to me to say that Denver is comfortable heading into the season with the RBs they currently have on the roster.

Well, assuming that they didn't think Duckett is an upgrade over what they have and thus they are comfortable with what they have is a little flawed since it is speaking entirely on relative terms (Current RBs Vs. Duckett).

Basically, what I mean is, it's also possible that Denver is not happy with their current RB's (See "Denver Interested in Moats" thread), but they think that Duckett just sucks.

Atlanta offered Duckett for Lelie straight up during the draft, and Denver declined (remember- this is before Mike Bell was even on the roster). Passing on Duckett doesn't really express confidence in Bell as much as it expresses a lack of confidence in Duckett, imo.
