Does loss of Eric Barton affect Jonathan Vilma (1 Viewer)

No. Vilma is getting so many tackles because the Jets D is always on the field. Losing Barton won't change that. Vilma may be even better.

Barton has been out for a while. 4 weeks

Barton missed I think weeks 5 and 6 completely, if not more, and missed most of the Monady night game, so the answer is ...... no. He should continue to compile big numbers playing for a team with no O line and no QB.

for most part, it does seem to benefit hobson's #s. is seeing the field more in certain packages in place of Barton?

as a Jet fan, i see Vilma seeing more action which is not always a good thing.. He works well when playing in space and I'm afraid he;ll be tied up more often with Barton out
