Does Ontario (the province) Report Speeding Violations to Illinois? (1 Viewer)

I got a speeding ticket in Ontario, Canada on Jan 1--140 km in a 100.  I am trying to find out if Ontario will report the violation to Illinois which will then result in points for me and an insurance increase.

The best I've been able to find out is that Ontario will only report serious violations (DWI etc) but they don't appear to report minor violations.  Can anyone confirm?  How can I find out definitively?

From what I can find online, only unpaid fines are reported.

i didn't pay for tolls in Toronto when I was there. i received notices from Canada about being required to pay them after returning to the US.

Clearly they measured the distance you traveled not your speed.  I'd fight it.
