Yep. Exhibit A why the ignore function doesn't work. You should be able to ignore all of those.

Some users are very prolific and tend to make large posts. Ignore saves a ton of scrolling.
When they tend to be about a third of the posts or more, it's just easier. Not sure what self control has to do with it. Though the irony of you coming in to a thread to complain about not having the self control to skip posts isn't lost on me here.
