My opponent is starting Walker and Sankey, so yeah I'll be watching this stinkfest. :X

The Thursday games are generally terrible, but damned if I don't look forward to it every Thursday afternoon as the time winds down on my workday.
This. The games are generally not as good, but I look forward to and watch them anyway. If they did away with them I wouldn't be terribly upset, but if my vote mattered it would be to keep them.

To me TNF it has lost its luster. When they had a few games a year it was special, now half the time I forget it is even on. I would like to see them do away with TNF and SNF and just keep MNF.

Did not watch any of last night's game. Usually, I will try to watch some of the TNF game if I have players going but its definitely less a priority than sunday games.

I would be fine with doing away with the TNF games. The games usually stink, IMO, and come up too quickly for both the actual players and fantasy owners. I would be more than fine with eliminating TNF and waiting til sunday to get my fix.

These games are going to be played. If the Jags and Titans didn't play on Thursday, they'd be played on Sunday. Either way you wouldn't watch, so why does it matter that it's played on Thursday?

Because if it is played on Sunday, you have other options and you're kind of in the mind frame of watching at that time. It goes from being "I'm here anyway and watching and I CAN ignore it" to "Its here on a special day on which I would otherwise not watch but I feel compelled to...most likely because of the fantasy/gambling implications".

I ended up tuning in with a few minutes left until halftime. Came back to it early in the 4th and actually stuck around just because the game was close but honestly because my opponent had a few guys in the game and it had fantasy implications. Had it not been for that, even the close game and the mostly filled stadium (and the shots of the pool and the golf driving range) wouldn't have been enough to make me forgo sleep or anything else. I would have just looked up the final score this morning.

The only ones who don't want to get rid of TNF are the owners, league and television partners .... and people who have FF players going this week.
From a fantasy perspective, I'd much rather have all the games on Sunday, with a kicker on Monday night. The intensity of fantasy on Sunday is why fantasy football is better than any other fantasy sport, and on Monday night every play can be the one that wins or loses you your game. On Thursday the scoring is nice but it's not a big part of your fantasy week.
Agree 100%. Plus I wish they'd spread out the 1pm/4pm mix a bit more.

The modern NFL football fan watches all the games at once and wants the constant action from 1-7pm where it feels like the NCAA men's first round. 2 4pm games simply doesnt cut it. They need a minimum of 4 weekly.

As for Thursday, I very much like college football on Thursday night. It's an excellent way to ease into the weekend. I dont *have* to watch usually, so I dont feel out of the loop like I do with the NFL when business travel or other things get in the way of watching the game. Plus, the NFL Thursday product stinks.
