Dolphin WR's going forward (1 Viewer)

Dolfan here...

In all honesty this is going to be a fantasy waste-land for 2012. There are several mediocre talents at the WR position, not horrible players...but I just don't see one guy who is going to stand out. Tannehill will likely spray the ball around evenly to all targets.

The only guy who has any fantasy value here is Bush (in ppr leagues). If you're in a DEEP league...maybe Bess but I don't see him getting more than 75 receptions.

I'd be thrilled with 75 receptions for a guy drafted in the 15th round (or undrafted).

Really? If you are starting Bess on a regular basis you're in trouble. I'm lookin for the guy who has a chance to be special. I'm not seein one. I don't get what Miami is doing.

Gives guys like Cunningham a better chance to make the roster and develop into something. But nothing on that roster is anything more than a wait and see project in dynasty leagues... Deep ones...

I've liked Bess and Naanee to emerge as the startes in this group of misfits all along. Neither will be of any significant fantasy value but could be rosterable in deep leagues.

Ryan Tannehill is their best qb AND wr.He will be throwing the ball to himself.
Dont sleep on Roberto Wallace. He has shown flashes the past 2 years, and this looks like it may be the opportunity that he has needed. Seems like a WR or 2 come out of nowhere every year to become fantasy-relevant...sometimes even fantasy studs. He could very well be the guy in 2012.

They don't even have a Quarterback let alone a valuable fantasy Wr. The only one I like is Hartline but he's never even carved out a #2 spot so hes hard to promote. Unless I see something to change my logic in weeks 2-3 of the preseason I'll leave this for waivers. Seems like the jags from a year ago.

In 2010, Danny Amendola was the 13th ranked fantasy WR in PPR on an atrocious Rams team and he is no more talented than Bess. In 2011, Josh Cribbs was the 23rd ranked fantasy WR in PPR on an atrocious Browns team and he's simply a return guy.I think people are failing to see the value in the WR that leads this team in catches. Miami will be behind a lot this year. They will be forced to throw early and often and many times against soft defenses in the 3rd and 4th quarters simply trying to protect a 3 TD lead.

After watching the Miami TB replay I think that Fasano will catch close to 80 balls this year. Not leaving room for a breakout WR. And I guess that means Fasano will break out?

R.Wallace is your guy. The Pruitt cat has a outside chance. I lived in South Florida for 20 years so I hear things. Don't waste anything other than a real late pick on them.

Miami should think about trading a 4th/5th to GB and seeing if they can acquire James Jones...of course I would think Philbin might have thought about this already when they were releasing Johnson.
