And I don't think the Jets were competing against themselves. The Raiders seemed pretty ready to let him fester if they didn't get something reasonable for him. But yeah, I don't think we're in disagreement on too much other than I think he's better in real life than you do.

Are you sure this isn't just dislike of the player? I did not see that receiver series and I have no idea what makes Davante tick. I don't think I care for it, but he doesn't look cooked to me. Not elite in the league, but very viable for fantasy purposes next year depending on where he goes and his motivation.

No problem. I should have clarified what I meant. We often talk about a player's real and fantasy worth interchangeably, and it's probably upon the speaker to clarify before proceeding if we're talking about different valuations, which tend to happen when receivers hit about 28 or 29 or even earlier these days.
