Dolphins Training Camp Info? (1 Viewer)

Hey All,

Anyone have a site with detailed information on the Dolphins training camp? I know the dates and location, but I can't find any kind of landing site on the Dolphins website for Training camp info or FAQs.

Thanks

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, this being prior to the start of training camp.

Twitter is the best place IMO to look for all TC news from all of the NFL teams.

No, no. Sorry if I wasn't clear. I'm looking for Training Camp info (FAQ type stuff) confirming when practices are open to the public (if at all), and when the team breaks camp.

Found this today:

The Miami Dolphins will begin preparations for the 2010 season as the team opens training camp on July 30.

All practices will be held at the team’s Nova Southeastern University training facility in Davie. The last open practice for the general public is on Thursday, Aug. 19. Most morning sessions when the Dolphins have two practices will begin at 9 a.m., while afternoon workouts on those days commence primarily at 5 p.m. Practices that are held on days with only a single workout begin at 2 p.m. Admission is free at all Dolphins training camp practices.

On Saturday, July 31, during both practices Dolphins’ fans and their families are invited to “Family Day at Dolphins Camp” to enjoy the first Saturday team practices and all of the festivities surrounding the return of football. Among the free activities that fans from all ages will be able to enjoy are face painters, inflatables, meet-and-greet Dolphins cheerleaders, fun with TD,and the Fins Force, and more. In addition, the team merchandise store, the Miami Dolphins Official Pro Shop, will reopen after being temporarily closed for renovations. The new store is larger and will offer fans a vast inventory of team merchandise.

Seating at the team’s facility will be available for the first 2,000 fans in the bleachers, located on the west side of the practice facility. Parking is available at the Nova Southeastern University Medical School garage (HPD Garage), which is next to the Dolphins Pro Shop, and located near the intersection of University Drive and S.W. 30th Street, between Griffin Road and I-595.

Access to this garage is off University Drive and S.W. 30th Street. The HPD Garage will be available to the public from Friday, July 30 until Sunday, August 1. Due to the start of the academic year at Nova, beginning Monday, August 2, the public is instructed to park at the LRITC Garage near the Nova Library due to limited space in the HPD Garage.

Practice times are subject to change, and the most updated information can be obtained by calling the Dolphins practice hotline at (954) 452-7004.

FANTASTIC! Thank you, EXACTLY what I was looking for.

MIA - WR Brian Hartline could be given chance to shine

Source: Omar Kelly - South Florida Sun-Sentinel

The Miami Dolphins need to find a complement to WR Brandon Marshall in the starting lineup, reports Omar Kelly, of The Sun-Sentinel. Offensive coordinator Dan Henning loves a smart receiver, and he said WR Brian Hartline was the team's smartest receiver a year ago. Hartline led the Dolphins' receivers in yards per reception (16.3) and the team may want the player opposite Marshall to stretch the field. Hartline is considered the team's fastest option at receiver. He could unseat WR Greg Camarillo for a starting job and hold off Davone Bess.
