Donald Driver is going to be the only Packer... (1 Viewer)

Ahman Green seems to have put in a nice accounting for himself against a great defense today...

Driver's a legit WR1 in any league. He's going to have a strong season barring injury.

I was VERY impressed by Green today. I have been highly skeptical of his ability to come back and be a productive RB but he looked damn good. He ran with more power and burst than he showed last season before his injury and if he can remain healthy (that's the big question) he could prove to be an outstanding value pick for his owners this season given his ADP. There's no doubt he was in Week 1 for those owners who started him.

depending on the rest of my team, yes. with peyton, gates, caddy, jordan, rudi and perry i'll take driver as my #1. and i did
Was that a keeper league? Otherwise I'm having trouble trying to figure out how you got 5 1st/2nd round picks... not counting driver who probably went before round 6.

exactly, i guess i should always preface my comments with "in a 12 team, competitive league". I cant think of any scenario where i want a guy who's gonna score <6 TDs as my #1 WR.

Driver ranked 13th in standard scoring leagues last season and 10th in 2004. Given that type of production I can think of a number of reasons why I'd want him as a WR1 in a 12-team league.
