I have always encouraged him to stop the excuses and do something. The guy always focuses on how big his obsticles are instead of how to overcome them. That is the difference between those that succeed. Yeah, some people were over the top in their words, but he needs to change. I have known many talented people who ended up doing nothing positive and it is a shame.

At the risk of sounding like a #### (and again, I wasn't around for the previous iterations) I think McG got what he needed. I used to get ribbed a lot here, then one day I realized it was my own fault, and looking back, it's one of the best things that happened to me.

I'd like to think this whole process, getting beaten down, doing some introspection, and coming out on the other side with better perspective makes the whole thing worth it. That's one of the cool things about FBGs, tough love, people will sort you out INSTANTLY and pull no punches, but it can be theraputic.

Don't post a lot, but these are awesome, great work man. Only interaction you would know me from is when you were DSPing it I made a thread about how awesome the FFA was. If you end up drawing me I could be the guy who randomly pops in with some overwhelmingly positive/motivational dialogue, just to get crapped on/told to get lost by the main characters. I love the guitar specifically PRS guitars, am a New Englander, and a longtime lurker. Keep up the awesome work!

What bandwagon? It's not a sport. In life, you get accepted to the extent you offer something to the group. Friendship, protection, wise-cracking good times, plus-sized funbags, world class oboe skills, or a willingness to draw caricatures of people for craps and yuks.

I wasn't here for the DSP era, I don't think. But if it was anything like the transparent self-aggrandizing nonsense of the past few weeks of MCGM, I can see why he got piled on. This is better.
