I saw in the pinned injury discussion that the CBS announcers said that Donnie Edwards broke his leg, yet I saw that he logged some tackles in the second half after the injury. Anybody know what really happend?

He intercepted a tipped pass and was hit by shoulders pads to his knee on the return with his leg planted on the ground. He was upended and, apparently, walked off under his own power. The trainers were working on him to loosen his knee. I'm guessing bruised kneecap/shin. He missed the rest of the first half and about half of the third quarter. He came back in and, after looking a little tentative at first, resumed his normal studly play nearly picking off another pass in the 4th quarter.No worries

I think all the Chargers defenders will be shot, arrested, suspended or injured before the season is over. It's karma.

The announcer mentioned that he almost broke his leg.

Anyway the San Diego Union-Tribune reported he had a hyperextended hip. It seemsl like he's o.k. going forward.
