Dont start pierre thomas (1 Viewer)

Westbrook McGahee and Thomas. :goodposting:

Obviously if you have a better option, go with it. But I'm sticking with Thomas. He's made the most of his limited opportunities and I think that will continue.

FoxSports.com's John Czarnecki says the Saints plan to give Deuce McAllister 10-15 carries this week.

We'll believe it when we see it. While this report makes Pierre Thomas a shakier play Sunday, the Saints have shown no desire to get McAllister involved.

Ugghh, this is almost as bad as the Denver RBBC. How does Duece go from zero carries in 3 games to 10-15 today when nothing has changed? Is this all because Karney is out? I have to decide between Bjackson and Pierre, I know its hopeless...

Given the current situation, I can't see either as startable (Deuce or Pierre) until-

1. Deuce gets reinjured

2. Deuce shows he is either out of gas OR just filled the tank

I own both and will be monitoring the situation with both on my bench, as I do have other options. Either way, Pierre will absolutely be the guy NEXT year (If not sooner)

Latest update from RotoWorld:

Deuce McAllister was introduced along with the Saints' starting lineup on Sunday morning.

The Saints listed McAllister as a co-starter with Reggie Bush, possibly indicating that Deuce has moved ahead of Pierre Thomas on the depth chart. This coincides with a FOXSports report claiming that Deuce would get 10-15 carries this week. He's not a great fantasy bet until we see something positive from him, but we'd grab McAllister off waiver wires if possible.

Hopefully people will finally see that Deuce is a glimpse of his former self, and we can end this bring Deuce in craze. Pierre Thomas is by far the better player on the field.

I hope this is true, but these stories were enough for me to drop Thomas out of my starting lineup for OchoCinco.

No one believed the Ballstein guru
:goodposting: Huge thanks to Ballstein. I saw this thread at 11:56am (CT) right before the games started and made a quick lineup change. I don't usually do that unless I have solid news and I hadn't seen the other threads re: Deuce. You saved my game today, thanks.

I have to agree, this was a solid and timely post - great info for those watching the SP just before gametime.
