Is every single Brown worthless now from a fantasy pespective, esepcially Braylon? Can this guy complete a pass? Start all defenses against him?

Dorsey sucks! I just can't believe he is still in the NFL. Edwards was a disappointment already this year. Now he will be a disaster.

Yes. I think now that Quinn/Anderson are done, this makes the CIN defense in week 16 a plausible play against the Browns for those who make their championship game without a decent defense for week 16.

I can not imagine that the Browns feel confident starting Dorsey, even in what has become a lost season. To me, it would make sense for them to bring in a young free agent or try to sign someone off another teams' practice squad. That way, they can try and invest in a future backup to Quinn, since it is assumed DA will be gone.

i'm assuming if DA is done, Dorsey will be the starter the rest of the year.

i think he'll run the dink and dunk well enough.

you might see a game or two with one of the TEs with 9 catchs, 70 yards. but Braylon already destroyed all of his own value a long time ago.

oh, and Jamal will be running the ball A LOT.

I think every Browns player was worthless regardless of who their starting QB is. With Dorsey... yikes. I'm rooting for him though, Go Canes!

wk14 @ TEN

wk15 @ PHI

wk16 vs CIN

wk17 @ PIT

Just play Cribbs as the qb. He's one of the few Brownies who seems to give a damn anyhow.
He played 4 years in college as a QB and will most likely be listed as #2 QB on Sunday. Grossi on Cleveland.com mentioned that Chud may design some QB plays for him.

reminds me of Danny Weurfell (sp). Can't break a pane of glass from 10 yards.

Maybe Dorsey will throw it softly enough that Edwards won't drop it.

Ken Dorsey made Eric Johnson a fantasy beast back in 2004. Whoever the tight end is in Cleveland (Heiden or Winslow) should put up some ok numbers. Other than that nothing.

Dorsey is a lock to be a future NFL coach in some capacity. IIRC It was Bill Walsh who commented on his "football intelligence" and since then several others have stated as such. If you google you can find Derek Anderson and Quinn giving Dorsey credit for helping in their development. I think because of all this stuff, the Browns will keep Dorsey as their 3rd string QB til he decides to stop playing and coach. The fun notion you mentioned above would be interesting but, a new young QB just couldn't pickup their O quick enough. Sure we can debate if Braylon deep and Kellen over the middle is all he needs to know but....Smart guy, very good leader, not much of an arm. Browns fans will have to be hoping for a Pennington imitation from Dorsey.

:goodposting: I've heard this same thing numerous times.
Is Bernie Kosar available?
How about Vinny?

I think this week the Tennessee Defense might be the single greatest play in fantasy football history

Is Bernie Kosar available?
Yes but I don't think he will be sober enough to suit up by Sunday.
A Miami Hurricane homer here, so take with grain (or ton) of salt. Dorsey may have been the best (smartest) college QB to ever play at the U. Yes, better than Vinny, Kosar and Kelly. Vinny and Dorsey both had great teams around them, but Dorsey was smart enough to win a title and come close to a second. They went 35-2 in his three years as a full-time starter. One of those losses was the national title game to OSU in overtime, the other a road loss to Washington. Vinny won nothing and arguably squandered two national title chances.Having said all of that, Dorsey has one of the weakest arms you will ever see in the NFL. With Winslow now out, and no one to take coverage away from Edwards, this will be a complete disaster. Ugly. Ugly. Ugly.
