Doug,

If we really can't download the stats anymore, do you know where there is a place that can in the same format?

I'd even pay for it since my projections app is completely built around the player IDs. I spent too much time developing this to redo it so I guess I'll have to use the Draft Dominator for projections going forward, but it doesn't look like you can do projections by team in the DD nor does it have historical team stats to compare your projections to...so it isn't much of a projections tool.

From a previous thread:

This database pre-dates the re-launch of PFR in December of 2007. Much of the data on PFR's current site is licensed from the creators of the ESPN Pro Football Encyclopedia. Under the terms of this license we are not allowed to provide a downloadable database of these stats. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that you will continue to use PFR as before.

Does this mean data will not be available for download beyond the current 2006 file?

I'm fairly certain that I'll be allowed to maintain the database going forward at the same scope that it always has been. I just can't release the older data and the data I didn't have before (e.g. return data, sacks, etc.)
