The Vikings are definitely a much improved team, but the Packers have already been through the stage the Vikings are going through right now. In fact, the Packers are still one of the youngest teams in the league and Thompson has already started grooming new players which seems obvious, but doesn't happen as much as one would think.Harrell was mentioned before. He should be fine for the season, but I wouldn't say this is a make or break season for him. Many DTs take a few years before they become either dominant or a bust. I would hope we would see improvement, but I for one will wait until I see him 100% healthy.I know people have questions about the QB for both teams, but Rodgers has been in the system for 3 years and has shown so much improvement in the preseasons and in the limited action he has. He's also looking like a solid vet at the OTAs and mini camps. Some can discount that to fluff pieces during the offseason, but I think he's really taking charge of the team and is going to turn some heads.Jackson will undoubtably improve as well. I don't read Viking news too much as I only go where the links here take me, but he showed improvement last year over the 4 games he played in '06 (if I remember correctly). He's definitely got a solid WR in Rice and Berrian is clearly an upgrade over what was opposite Rice last year. Plus, AD is as good off a dump off as you can get. It's going to be very interesting, starting week one as I think they are going to split the series. If GB lays an egg or two vs. Chi or Det it could mean big trouble. Minnesota, I think will have to focus on not giving away any Conference games as I think that will be the key to them winning the division if it were to come down to tie-breakers.
