Draft Dominator (1 Viewer)

Big B

Footballguy
I have an owner that is out of state during the draft and I am wondering if Draft Dominator has a feature that will allow him to view it as well (streaming/real time etc...). There is a drafting software out there that will do this but I have already paid my sub here and want to use DD.

Hey Big B,We don't have a hosted version of the Draft Dominator unfortunately. But your question also brings up an interesting point of clarification. YOU subscribe, but your out-of-state friend doesn't from the sound of things. Ergo, you really shouldn't be offering to let him use the DD in the first place.

It almost sounds like he's trying to use it like a digital draft board rather than a personal drafting tool (?)

If you are using the free version of the Draft Dominator as a Draft board, one way that you could do that would be to get one of the many free Desktop Sharing solutions out there (LogMeIn, TeamViewer, etc..). Then the out of stater could log in, and be sharing your desktop as you were going through the draft real time. Not perfect but would work in this situation.

And only with the free version, mind you.

Or just point a web cam at it and stream it on Justin.tv or Ustream.

If you're using myfantasyleague.com or some other sites, you could enter your league's draft picks concurrently with the draft and just have him view the picks as you enter them in the site. This is what I generally do. Make the pick in the DD and then again into MFL.

Now, there is a way to just load the whole draft from the DD right into MFL to save this step. But, this would be a work around for him if you're willing to do the extra loading work for him.

Just use googledoc spreadsheet as the draft board on a projector at the draft. Share the draft board and just have the out-of-state friend open it and he will be able to see every pick as you enter it in real time.

Trial of gotomypc would work.

Seeing as it isn't a matter of letting someone else use it for their own draft/league, I fail to see how this is different than using the software for your league's draft board. You dont really expect everyone in the league to pay for it in a live draft scenario, do you?

skype has a function where you can share your screen with the out of towner

We plan on doing this with fandraft software

I tried it and it ran very smoothly
