Would You Be Interested In The Draft Dominator Live Synching Picks As They're Made? (1 Viewer)

The Draft Dominator Online and Draft Dominator Mobile App is an unfair advantage in drafts.

But the one consistent thing we've heard from people is they'd like the ability for the Draft Dominator to live synch with the drafting platform so they don't have to manually enter picks from all the teams.

Would this be something you'd be interested in us doing?

My Fantasy League is live for Live Draft Sync as of this morning.

It was looking like this would be a 2025 feature but we pushed at the end to have it now.

MFL has some super intense trade options for picks and such I'm not sure it'll be perfect there. There's a chance its not working perfectly but we wanted to get it out for y'all.

We'll keep trying to do all we can for folks.

And next year, we'll be looking to add more platforms.

Can it live sync to my live, manual auction draft? It may have difficulties in later rounds, when our auctioneer is 12 beers in and has to try to pronounce Chigoziem Okonkwo

Sorry. One thing it will not do this year is handle auction/salary cap draft.

We were intentional about being realistic in what we could handle. That's why for now, it's just Sleeper and not auction.

We know that leaves some folks out. But it was important to get this right and we felt going with what we thought we could reasonably get done was the right thing. And that's mostly because Sleeper has by far the friendliest API.

Thank you. For this year, it was very important to us to get this right so we were careful not to take on more than we thought we could do.

Again, that means no Auction or Yahoo this year.

We realize that will make lots of people unhappy but we had to make a conscious choice to do this as well as we could. And that meant limiting our scope.

Sleeper is first. There's a chance MFL could happen this year but not sure. But no more than those.

If this finishes like I think, it'll be so good that I would personally change my platform for it. But I know not everyone is like me.

Stay tuned.

Ya I'm not a fan of the sleeper platform at all. I would rather click off the picks as they happen then swap platforms.

But it would be so awesome if it did it for you. Tho I do wonder how "robotic" a draft would become. You could in theory just close your eyes until you hear a beep, then take the top guy on the DD and repeat. I guess that's the way it going anyways tho. Fantasypros does this already where it links to your drafts and automatically takes out a player when drafted. But the fbg DD is much much better than there's imo.

Please please try for mfl! I look forward to this function greatly, especially in the league's I commission when I have a lot of other stuff going on and saving time clicking each pick off would help.

Sorry to hear that.

Having the picks autoselected for you and added to the Draft Dominator without lifting a finger is a game changer. It's that good.

But again, I understand not everyone is like me. Thanks.

An interesting idea - I only draft a couple of leagues online, and it definitely would be helpful.

My local live draft with stickers on the board will still be manual data entry, but it’s not like that’s difficult.

In a format like NFFC where the clock is relatively short, I could see the most benefit.

It would have to work perfectly though. One glitch, and it would be chaos.
 
I have a league on Sleeper, we did a rookie draft last week, and all the rookies are on our rosters, but in the draft dominator it won't sync the rookies, they're all listed as free agents. Any ideas?

Having done a ton of bestball drafts over the past couple weeks, it has made it obvious now just how much this would help and how awesome it would be.

Please make it available for MFL soon, that would be so amazing!

Sorry. That's an error.

It's still possible it might happen this season but not ready yet. We'll fix whatever it says on the Draft Dominator. Apologies for our error.
 
I know it’s not happening this year but would LOVE for this feature to work with Fantrax next year if possible.

@Joe Bryant , one final push to have this ready with MFL before my 10 MFL drafts start next week? I'll pay! :P

Does it sync both ways or just from Sleeper to DD? In other words, can you make the pick in DD and have it show up on Sleeper or do you need to go back and forth?
 
It would be great for multi-platform syncs. Also, it would be good to have the option to add picks manually, or have them sync automatically if that is possible.

just sleeper to dd.... you can't make the pick on dd, has to be done on sleeper

it does sync automatically, not sure what the point is of wanting to add them manually.
 
Using a similar product from a competitor and one thing I like is that you draft right from the app and it syncs to your league site's draft. So all of your draft notes from your custom cheatsheet and all are right there. Also, this app allows you to preload all keepers into it pre-draft, and the app automatically eliminates those players (and in this case, their auction prices) from the draft player pool. Makes it so nice for pre-planning your auction draft ahead of time. it also syncs across nearly every FF platform. It definitely is a game changer.

Just some things for the FBGs brain trust to consider with their app. I'm sure FBGs will get there over time with their version. Baby steps.

@Joe Bryant -- are there issues with cloud syncing for the Dominator? I can't access my leagues but when I go to import them it shows them as already being imported. It was working yesterday. I tried logging out and then back in but that did not fix it.

CBS is having synch issues since last night when they had an outage. We've been working all day on it. ESPN has seen a few things too.

If it's still not working, please go to www.footballguys.com/help and scroll down to click "contact support" and they'll do their best to help.

For this thread, this is just Sleeper Live Sync. We haven't had any issues with Sleeper that I know of but if you do, please let them know at www.footballguys.com/help

I tend to fire draft assistants up prior to the actual draft and manually complete my own "worst case scenario" mocks with them, as many of the mock software algorithms out there are so skewed or out of date, they are barely worth using. It's just another way of utilizing the dominator tool based on my own rankings and league drafting tendencies.

You can still do this, by running exactly that.

When you fire it up, you can choose one of: "real draft" (you input every selection, and you could create a 'worst case scenario') or "mock draft" (you input your picks, and the computer fills out the rest), or "livesync" where it does it all. Prior to the actual draft, you can play around with REAL DRAFT and MOCK DRAFT all you want, the LIVESYNC option is only if you actually WANT it to pull the picks from sleeper.
 
Hi All, I am trying to use this feature today with a draft that started 20 min ago.

Selected livesync draft option in draft dominator.

For some reason Footballguys is saying the draft has yet to start, but it in fact has started. How quickly should it all sync?

It should be instant.

I am in a FBG home league right now doing a slow draft, and it also stopped working as of this morning and is not updating the picks.

I would be massively interested in this if it would sync to my ESPN draft. I gave up trying to enter the picks manually.

It should be instant.
