1.01 Texans Reggie Bush 80%

1.02 Saints D'Brickashaw Ferguson 54%

The Titans appear to be a lock to take a QB. There's substantial reports that the team is torn between the three listed. If these reports are accurate. Chow prefers Leinart, Fisher prefers Cutler, and Adams prefers Young. The guy lowest on the totem pole is expected to win this by most draftniks. I'm not so sure. The non-QBs are listed in case anyone thinks Tennessee goes in a different direction. I cannot imagine that, personally.

What say you, FBGs?

I'm not going to hold this up with debate, because I will lose, I'm probably wrong, and I want to move through several picks, but fwiw, I am the lone vote for Young. I think this is the smokescreen. He's been their guy all along.

I have to drop the winning player, right? :loco:

I wanted to vote for Leinart as a Jet. :(

Also, if someone is getting 85-90%, which will probably happen a couple times. I'll move along after 25 votes.

It will be a textbook example on how to do a smokescreen if true.

McNair will be gone and the Titans need a "ready now" QB.

Matt Leinart
Wouldn't they think that Volek would be a "ready now" NFL QB? Haven't they groomed him to be the QB of the future once McNair is gone and wouldn't he be more of a "ready" NFL QB than either Young or Leinert? Or, when and if they do select a QB - do they look at moving Volek for a pick?I don't argue the pick, however - I do believe they go Young.

I think VY will be in Tenn as well, but only because I think NY trades up to grab Leinert ahead of them. If they can pick, they take Meinert IMO.

Baltimore radio had someone from the Tennessean on last week and discussed the Titans and McNair (sorry, don't have his name).

He did say that Volek would be the starter in 06 if McNair is traded. They have no desire to throw a rook out on the field in Year 1.

I'm leaning Leinart here.

I think the Billy Volek ship has sailed. He's not as good as he looked two seasons ago.

Volek is viewed as a bridge QB and not the long term solution, from what I've heard.

Bud Adams seems no more stubborn than a typical owner/GM, but that's a pretty stubborn group. He fell in love with Young. Of this, I am sure. Maybe he's been talked out of it. But Chow said some interesting things at USC's Pro Day. "I love Matt. I loved working with him. But this is business now." It was such a quick quote, but I think it was revealing-- maybe. Fisher has gushed over Leinart and Cutler. It's been thick and syruppy. He was sort of hush hush about Young, but he's been eyeballing Young for two years. We'll see, and my mind can easily be changed on this one. I like going against the grain- obviously.

Just from what's out there it sounds like the Jets want nothing to do with a "Hollywood" QB and want no questions about arm strength in the Meadowlands...I think, if they take any QB, it's Cutler.

But, SUPER MARIO, come to poppa!!!!!!!!
