I'm in a 8 team leauge (I know, I know) with 6pt per QB TB pass. I have the 6th pick and I think the order will go something like this...

1. LJ

2. LT

3. SA

4. CP

5. Unknown

6. ____

My questions is, do I go Manning here and then pick up a RB on the turn? Or do I go RB/RB, RB/WR and pick up a QB later rounds as I have done in the past...

Eight team league? Sure.

You can do whatever you want b/c the RB pool goes much further.

Manning's the only QB worth consideration - just recall that the difference between fantasy QBs is not great, and every team will be able to field a competitive QB spot - usually a competitive QB PLUS a competitive backup.

Manning is only projected to have roughly 500 more yards and 6 more TDs than a QB#5 like Delhomme. The scoring dropoffs at WR and RB are much greater (in terms of total points), making it prudent to wait on a QB. In this position, your scoring system may advise Tiki or Westy, or perhaps a top WR. The scoring system (ppr?), numbers of starters, etc are all missing elements to giving good advice.
