Draft strategy (1 Viewer)

So I am in an initial draft where we auction everyone. Then money is meaningless. We keep 14 players every year with no draft ramifications next year.

What is the proper strategy here? Go get mega studs? I don't see how getting 30 values helps in the long run as I can only keep 14

What am I missing?

Only questions I see are....* Do you push in for 14 studs or 9 or 5?* Do you go for current studs or do you try to do guys like Bryce Harper?Personally, I think I'd push in to get players who are currently good and still young-ish. Longoria, Braun, Votto, Jennings, M-Cabrera, Cano, AGonzalez and try to get 5-6 guys like that. I wouldn't worry too much about the rest of the keepers or planning more than a year or so in advance. Things change and work themselves out. But top-line value is irreplaceable.

My thoughts exactly...I am minutes away from snagging Miggy...And I lead for Longoria with everyone having basically passed.
