Draft Strategy (1 Viewer)

I have been part of a league for about 9 years now. It is a rotisserie league and used to have 12 teams but then that dwindled to 10 and it is possible that this year it will only be 8.

There are equal stats between offense and pitching and I have always drafted a little heavy on the pitching versus the rest of the league and have always done well, have won the league 4 times and finished in the top 3 the other times.

This year with the possibility of only being 8 teams, I am thinking about drafting all of my pitching before I even address my offense as I feel there will be more offensive players to choose from at the end of the draft that I could get some points in some select offensive categories and dominate in the pitching categories.

What do you think about being overly aggressive towards the pitching or should I be more balanced?

Scoring:

Offense > Runs, HR's, RBI's, Stolen Bases, Batting AVG.

Pitching > Wins, Saves, Strike Outs, ERA, WHIP'

We draft 14 position players and 9 pitchers

I would recommend NOT taking this approach. I always feel it is easier to find good pitching in shallower leagues as opposed to good hitting. I'd stay balanced.
