Draftguys TV - Jerome Simpson, WR, Cincinnati (1 Viewer)

Draftguys Profiles Jerome Simpson

Jerome Simpson already made ESPN's #1 play of the day, but the big receiver still has room for improvement. His routes are sloppy, but you won't find better hands anywhere. Decide in you think the rest of his game measures up on Draftguys TV.

I'd rather have Andre Caldwell. Faster, more polished, better pedigree, better competition, just better. They're lucky they got him anyway. When they selected Simpson I thought to myself, WTF, why didn't they take Caldwell.

This would be an obligatory Who Dey.

I like 'em both. Something sells me Simpson will actually be the more special guy.

The Steelers wanted Simpson over Sweed

I'm not saying you are wrong, but do you have a link to back that up? Not the Cincy Enquirer he said, she said, but an actual statement made by someone from the Steelers.

Just thought I'd post it here rather than start a new thread but there is a mistake in Simpson's FBG Player Profile... it lists his height at 5'8" rather than the 6'2" listed in this video and on NFL.com.

It should probably be corrected. A friend of mine just chose Caldwell over Simpson in a Rookie Draft and when I asked him about it (amongst other things) he said "Simpson's too short." Yikes...

;) FBG rookie ht, wt, age numbers are all over the place. Tavares Gooden is 58 years old. Brian Johnston is 4 feet tall.

I almost did this myself. Thankfully I double checked as i remembered him being taller.

The Bengals don't do much well, but drafting productive WR's is one of them - definitely a guy to target in dyno's.

Sonds like the makings of an awesome dynasty team. I want 'em all!I can actually explain the age given to Gooden. When an actual birth date hasn't been entered, the default date is 1-1-1950. I learned that from Bob Henry recently.

But I don't want anybody fixing this. I love seeing an NFL player still older than me!

Oddly enough, they're all soon to be starring in their own Geico celebrity commercials.

Me too Bruce. Keeps my dream alive that I still have a shot at playing in the NFL
