Landing one of Grady/Utley/Howard will be great. Good luck!

If they go off the board....tough choice between Markakis and Fielder.

yep obviously wanna go with offense for about the 1st 7 rounds.... doubt sizemore would fall. WHAT ABOUT A-ROD? he would only be $5 next year....

Depends if your league uses a CI spot. If yes, take Fielder. If no, take Markakis. Probably. I'm not sure, I never ran any tests on leagues without CI positions but the two are close enough in value in a league with CI that I'd guess Markakis over takes him in a league without CI.

Also, times two on the Big Z call...I wouldn't feel too god about Morrow either. Those are really your best options?

I was also going to comment on Z and Morrow, but it seems like those picks can't be changed from the wording and I tried to stay on topic. Would be interesting to see the rest of the roster though.

Is Zambrano really worth keeping at $4?

they cant be changed. my team was pretty awful at the end of the year. had some other high priced talent (rollins-9) that i couldnt hold onto. my offensive keeper hitting was atrocious.

there is no CI or MI goesc1b 2b 3bss4 ofutcould have kept cain instead...which would have prolly been smarter, but for some drunken reason i think Z might bounce back. also i like the k potential of morrow.

I'm in a similar position. I've acquired the 6th pick in the 1st round and have the 4th, too. Our league allows no keepers from last year's top 3 rounds, so there are most of the typical studs available [Markakis is not, however].

I've been toying with A-Rod at 1.06 but that could really backfire.

I'm assuming the first three picks will be:

Ramirez

Pujols

Reyes

Which leaves me with:

Rollins

Utley

Wright

Howard

Fielder

Sizemore

A-Rod

Santana

getting wright and sizemore/rollins would be nice

Agreed. On the other hand I feel that 3B is pretty deep whereas 2B/SS there's more of a drop off [especially factoring in keepers in our league].So thinking Sizemore/Utley as a possibility, too.

tough call

so nobody would take A-ROD here with the 4th pick if sizemore, utley, and howard are gone?
Personally, I would take Arod after Sizemore/Utley, but ahead of Howard/Rollins. You would get to keep him, and your offense is probably pretty far behind the rest of the league right now. It is worth the shot for you I think.

thats what ive been struggling with. im trying to rationalize it by saying most of my 1st rounders never produce the way i expect. and arod next year for $5 is one hell of a value...

Play for this year, not future years. I'd understand A Rod over Fielder/Markakis, but not Sizemore or the top Phillies.

I would take him, what have you got to lose.......and you would have a high draft pick next year too.
