Any players you guys are leaning towards investing heavily in?
I'm really liking Carr and Cooper as a relatively inexpensive micro stack, and I'm thinking I'm going to have Foster a lot vs a terrible ATL run D, assuming he plays. I'm thinking his ownership percentage should be pretty low his first game back.

Early look(done projections but haven't created lineups yet)

QB

Rodgers

Wilson

Ryan

Mallet(cheap)

RB

Williams(if no McCoy could be everywhere)

Forte

Dunbar

Murray

Gordon

WR

Julio

Cooper

Fitz

Cobb

Jones(GB)

Shorts(cheapo)

TE

Olson

Bennett

Reed

Clay(cheap)

Like Carr/Cooper stack for GPP but probably wont play Carr in cash. Foster is GPP possibility only for me if he plays, to much risk first week back for cash IMO.

I'm really liking the upside of the Carr/Cooper stack as well. Then again, if a lot of people are thinking that way, there are other options that are appealing for a QB/WR stack: Rogers & Cobb, Ryan & Jones, Luck & Hilton. Not sure which way I will go but I am leaning toward Carr/Cooper with Fitz and Julio added as receivers. Maybe Karlos Williams at the other RB, depending on if McCoy is looking healthier or not. I'll either go Seahawks or Cards for D this week with an outside chance of using the Panthers.

Prices went up quite a bit this week.

I will be trying to take advantage of injuries if they hold to gain some $$ on value to be able to plug into the big names. Buffalo - Harvin & Williams if Watkins and McCoy out. I also like Cobb if Adams sits. Lastly, I think Philly offense matches well against Washington. Washington will give up the short dink/dunk plays which is what Bradford has been doing well. I see J. Mathews as a WR3 with strong upside (Washington's secondary is banged up pretty bad)

I haven't seen anything on LeSean McCoy missing time, thanks for pointing that out for me!

Also, I see Gore dropped in price this week. With what should be a cake match up against the Jags at Indy I'm thinking I take him, to go with a cheapo option at RB who is probably going to get a pretty good amount of total touches.

Dalton v KC

AP v Den

Gore V Jac

ODB v Buff

Green v KC

James Jones v San Fran

Clay v Giants

Dunbar v NO

Philly D v Was

My tentative lineup

Early look at guys I like with a reason:

Cooper - because why the hell not? He's looked good and I'll hedge with Crabtree in a couple slightly different lineups

Latavius - has looked really good this year, plus finally a game that could see them milk the clock a bit with the run game (after Cooper gets his yds/td of course)

Clay - no Sammy and no Shady could mean big things for the TE in the middle, my favorite TE of the week

James Jones - he's pretty hard to sit right now especially with the injuries

Julio Jones - same as James Jones, you're kind of setting yourself up to fail without him and his streak he's on right now. Also could be due for a clunker if you're pessimistic.

I like a lot of the Packers/Raiders/Bills (the ones that will play) this week and will probably focus on those 3, with a little Atlanta sprinkled in

Was going to go ryan/julio but I can't pass up rodgers Cobb vs that horrid sf team. Still managed a way to get julio in too as he's so hot right now need to ride that

Dalton v KC

AP v Den

Gore V Jac

ODB v Buff

James Jones v San Fran

My tentative lineup
Got together with a friend and we talked over some guys we liked and came up with this lineup, really like it.

Carr v Chi

Gore c Jax

Lacy v SF

Cooper v Chi

Julio v Hou

Hurns v Indy

Clay v NYG

Jamaal Charles v Cin

Eagles D v Was

I was thinking the same too, but the $ was way too high for my liking.

With it looking like Coleman may be out again Freeman is looking like a cheap play. Combo of Freeman/Williams is cheap and solid or could easily go 3 RBs adding in L Murray or Gore and still stay low priced on RBs.

Agree on cash games, but especially after Freeman hit it out of the park last week, I am wondering if he will be on too many rosters for a tourney, and people will be looking for a similar cheap injury homerun in Williams. . Probably me overthinking it.

I think Freeman, K. Williams, and Bell will be the three highest owned backs this week.

Maxx Williams is a interesting cheapo TE option with Gilmore ruled out. Flacco threw a total of 10 times to the TEs last week.

I'd be really surprised if the Carr/Cooper stack was popular. Just because it's OAK. The average Joe doesn't immediately believe in the Raiders.

I think it's less about believing in the Raiders, moreso just really thinking the Bears D is awful without equal this season.

Anyone rolling with a stack for Thur lineups?

I am considering a Vick/Bell/SmithSr stack in case Vick goes off.

If want to gamble with a Vick stack in GPP I guess its a ok gamble not one I will take but for cash no way I use Vick. For Thursday the only players I think I will have any part of is M Williams and Baltimore DT. S Smith and L Bell are decent plays as well but I don't think I will be using either of them.

GPP Idea

Carr

Gore

Williams

Cooper

Julio

AJ Green or Cobb, undecided

Clay

Fitzgerald

Panthers
Glad to see the Carr/Cooper stack is popular among the experienced group. I locked this lineup in for my H2H's and 50/50's, playing one GPP this week with this lineup as well. They all seem like solid games for the rostered guys against sub-par opponents. Hurns vs Indy is the only one I am still looking into. If Thomas is cleared, I like it due to the attention Thomas will draw.

Carr v Chi

Gore c Jax

Lacy v SF

Cooper v Chi

Julio v Hou

Hurns v Indy

Clay v NYG

Jamaal Charles v Cin

Eagles D v Was

Don't think you can go wrong with either Green or Cobb. Green playing KC, KC lost a corner Monday night. Then Cobb has SF with Rodgers slinging the rock to him. Pick your poison.

In a cash lineup I have:

Newton 7000

Charles 7600

Latavius 6300

Cobb 7400

Fitzgerald 6500

Marvin Jones 3800

Reed 4500

Karlos Williams 3400

Cardinals 3300

Seems pretty solid. Charles has been consistent, getting around 20 FPS. If you lock in Karlos and Marvin Jones, you have more salary. I think Latavius is a must play and Fitzgerald is close to one as well.

I'm doing a Palmer/Fitzgerald stack for my 3X and 5X cash games. I feel it's a conservative stack.

No stack for 50/50. Swapping out Carr for Palmer, keeping Fitz.

Looking like Karlos, Devonta, Julio, Fitz are going to be everywhere. Makes me nervous starting Karlos and Devonta in cash since they are so new in terms of production but that seems like the slam dunk play this week.

I'm investing in Gore, I got a gut feeling that this is his week to get in rhythm with the O-line. After all my tweaks, he is one that has stayed consistent in my lineups. Him and Lord Julio... lol

I just wanted to come in to post that I really suck at this.

Last week was abysmal.
that weird because last week was my best one yet. placed in 5/7 cash games.

I did take Devonta and Blount in a lot of lineups with Julio & Fitz & marshall

This week, Im rolling Arod with stud WRs again

Yeah, my 175 in the triple ups was not enough. it even missed in a couple double ups. Jamaal saved me Monday night from a complete loss of the week's stakes, but I got home work to do to get my bankroll back up to starting point.

Anybody like Yeldon if Luck can't go? With the Ind oline and Hasselbeck under center its hard to imagine the Jags can't at least stay competitive in this one. Yeldon had 25 carries in their win against Miami so volume could be there if the Jags aren't playing from behind.

You can pair him and Karlos up for a total of $7800 leaving plenty to play with at the other positions. Tell me I'm crazy.

Rawls would be a really good cheap play if Lynch is out the problem is its a Monday night game which leaves you little room to pivot if Lynch does start.

Yep, about the only thing is to pivot to Riddick or hope Lynch isn't at full strength and Rawls still gets touches.

Probably would have to stick with Rawls if you had him in there. Other option would be to go with something like Lynch/Ebron and pivot to Rawls/Graham but honestly I wouldn't want to end going with Lynch/Ebron so that's not a good choice IMO. In the end I may throw Rawls in there in a GPP but avoid him in cash as too high risk.

i've got a lot of Yeldon exposure this week...fading KWill though.

Luck out leads to

Hilton: Out of all my lineups

Moncrief: Out of all lineups

Hass: Cash game/GPP option with very low price and good matchup

Gore: bumped up

Rolling this out in two contests (a 50/50 and a GPP):

QB - Palmer

RB - Charles

RB - Karlos

WR - Cobb

WR - Cooper

WR - Garcon

TE - Eifert

FLEX - Harvin

DEF - Panthers

Feel like there's more value in Cooper/Cobb than the Julio monster. Also like Eifert/Garcon/Harvin a lot in PPR. Harvin should see a lot of chances with Watkins out and has been pretty decent this year so far. So far this year I have built my lineups around projected workload + efficiency and it has worked pretty well. I see every guy I picked being heavily involved in his team's offense due to injury variables (Watkins, McCoy, DJax, Jordy/Adams).

Want to add that while I like FanDuel's interface A LOT more than DK's, I enjoy DK's contests more. The flex spot instead of the kicker lottery is great. The full PPR is nice. Also, their player prices seem more random. All of this makes the site seem much more beatable to me than FD, where you probably need to bink a lucky week from a kicker to win a big contest.

Yep, i stink at this. Got some of the cheap guys right- had Hurns, Clay, K.Will in a gpp but the big name guys like Beckham and Julio lay turds.

Think I'm going to make a little money this week although well down from the last two weeks. Had some good picks(clay, freeman) and a lot of mediocre ones. My worst one was likely a lot of peoples worst pick, Julio Jones.

I think we saw the future for the Rams. Gurley will be large the rest of the year IMO. I just need to remind myself of this weekly.

Sitting at a decent profit going into tonight. I can see where it will get cut in half based on whose behind me. Julio KILLED me, just about everyone else performed as expected...

At 4300 Gurley is pretty cheap matchup/ game flow at GB may not be positive though.
