I saw that the DraftKings and DraftStreet acquisition, which now combine to draw roughly similar market share as FanDuel. They also have a deposit bonus of 100% up to $600, vs. up to $200 for FanDuel. Expecting an increase in visibility and new players, so I'll be taking the DK plunge this season.
Financially, both DK and FD have drawn investments from venture capital firms, in not too high amounts ($11mm). But given the popularity of fantasy, the NFL, sports betting specifically on football, and the online poker world, I have a feeling these two are both going to see a ton of growth.
https://www.fanduel.com/investors --> FanDuel has gone from $135k in revenue in 2011 to $7.5MM during football season 2013. Looking at Q1 and Q2 for this year, they should crush it this football season for $10MM+ and well over 250k paid active users.
The answer you're looking for, TopMan, is "no." DraftKings does not offer any functionality whereby you can see the results of another player; that said, FanDuel offers this information, but it's only included as a total number of wins...you cannot see how many losses a person has. Thus, I rarely rely on those numbers to choose opponents (somebody could have 3000 wins, but that means nothing if they have 7000 losses). After a few days of lurking on the site, you'll know who to avoid...
I'll be writing an article in the near future, included with subscriber content, that will walk you through the major daily sites in a detailed fashion. Stay tuned.
Although wins does not mean everything someone with 200 wins over a season would have a lot less experience than someone with 3,000 wins.
I look forward to reading your article. Although I have an idea on who to avoid on the 2 sites I hope it goes into some discussion on how to choose opponents on these sites.
Will this article be in the magazine portion of Football guys or do I need to purchase the premium content here to see it?
