Check out his last 10 games:

71.3% 2890yds 24-6 108.5 rating

I doubt he'll experience another dry spell like he had at the start of the season while in New Orleans. It's incredible that he's raised his rating up to 92.1 after that horrible start. However, he is never ranked above 5th and can be had for much cheaper than the big 4(Brady, Manning, Romo, Palmer) and many will put QBs like Anderson, Cutler and maybe even Hasselbeck above him. QBs tend to be undervalued during the offseason and he could possibly be had for a "potential" RB and/or a draft pick.

With young offensive studs like Colston, Bush(running skills aside, he's a huge threat in the passing game) and hopefully Meachem stepping in next season, and some very nice pieces on the O-Line(only sacked 12 times this season), he should have some nice long term value. Take advantage of people looking to pick up some young unknown and add a consistently productive QB. It happens every offseason.

His ADP this season was 3. Dodds had him projected him to score less than 2 fewer points than his #2QB Carson Palmer(307.1 to 305.4). Brady was right in that group but you could have had Romo much cheaper at pick #60-#70 in most leagues. Palmer/Brees/Brady were all very close in the mid-20's to mid-30's.There's no way I'd put him above Brady/Manning/Romo/Roeth going into next season. Maybe in the same tier as Palmer/Hass/Favre/Anderson depending on how some of those situations play out. I don't see much drop-off in that group though so whoever is left at #9 or so would be just as good as owning Brees imo. For that matter it wouldn't surprise me to see marked improvement by Bulger/Young/Cutler/Rivers/Eli next season and several of those guys will be had very late next year. A couple of those guys probably represent the best value at the position.

Eli? Eli are you kiddingme, this guy is a bust.

I can't believe how bad Eli is. Or maybe it's just the games I've watched. All he seems to have going for him is his last name. I give him 1 more year as the starter in NY and even they will tire of him. Or am I missing something here?

I took Brees in Round 3, Kitna round 7, and Romo Round 8. I traded Kitna early when he was hot and got Winslow. I played Brees yesterday and I'm looking good for Super bowl. If you can get a good QB in the later rounds that will give you the most value. In PPR leagues the value seemed to be with the QB and the WR's this year. The top stud RB's didn't get it done considering where they were drafted.

Brees, Colston, David Patten, Stecker were outstanding buy lows about 2 months ago. Not so sure anymore..

Kinda wish this team would make the playoffs to see what they could do. And im a Cowboys fan, just curious to see how the Sainst would fair (or is it fare?)

Eli is total suckage at it's highest point. I can't figure out if it's him or the primadonna's he throws to. 8 drops last night. Plastic Bird#### fakes injury all week every week. Shockey is hurt as usual. Moss runs backwards after catches and stops drives. Smith can't find the field. The OC is an idiot. I'm in trouble when Favre retires in 5 years.
