Considering I'm 2 degrees of separation from the guy, I guess it does.Who really cares? Seriously, does this impact your life in any way? I understand the desire to grandstand and codemn this but does that really define who you are as a person?

Ernie Raines told CNN's Anderson Cooper he was with his daughter and Peterson as recently as last week, when they talked about going to Las Vegas, Nevada, and getting married.

Attorney asks to move murder trial elsewhere

The man Chicago loves to hate, Drew Peterson, wants to take his murder trial on the road.
Peterson's trial is on hold while a judge considers his attorney's request to move the proceedings elsewhere.
Attorney Joel Brodsky filed the motion Thursday in Will County. Brodsky said that with all the media attention, trying Peterson here wouldn't be fair. The motion uses examples from Chicago's online media, and even a Google search on Drew's name as evidence that potential jurors in Will County would be too biased to give Peterson a fair shake.
A judge will consider Brodsky's motion at an Aug. 14 hearing, the Tribune reported.
Peterson is charged with the murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio. His fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, disappeared in 2007, and he is a suspect in that case as well.
Is there a link to a video where you can hear what he was saying when they took him in? The news always talked over it or the audio was muted. I wonder if he's still talking #### now. While being taken into custody, he shouted "I really should have returned those library books."What an as**ole.
.This is especially important since Google doesn't work anywhere but Chicago. The motion uses examples from Chicago's online media, and even a Google search on Drew's name as evidence that potential jurors in Will County would be too biased to give Peterson a fair shake

The judge overseeing the murder trial of Drew Peterson has agreed to allow a suburban pastor to testify about a conversation he had with Petersons fourth wife, Stacy.
His testimony is part of Drews Law, a ruling that allows some hearsay evidence to be presented at the trial, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The pastor, Neil Schori, will testify that Stacy Peterson, who has been missing since October 2007, told him that she provided a false alibi for her husband around the weekend when his third wife, Kathleen Savio, disappeared. But thats all. Judge Stephen White wont allow testimony about details of the night in question, when Drew allegedly broke into the home of Savio and held a knife to her throat.
Peterson is accused of killing Savio, but not Stacy Peterson, though he remains a suspect in her death as well.
Investigators originally labeled Savios death an accident. But subsequent autopsies helped rule her death a murder.
At least one of those autopsies has become a bone of contention in the trial.
Judge White says if a videotape of an autopsy on the body of Peterson's third wife isn't turned over to defense attorneys he may not allow the famous pathologist who conducted it to testify at Peterson's murder trial next month.
On Thursday, prosecutors told Judge White about the videotape, explaining it was made surreptitiously by television news producer Steph during Dr. Michael Baden's 2007 autopsy of Kathleen Savio Watts and aired on Greta van Susterens Fox News show. The autopsy was conducted for Savio's family.
Not allowing Baden to testify could be significant because in February he testified that he believed Savio's death was a homicide and not an accident.
Two other pathologists testified. One agreed with Baden and the other backed the original finding that Savio's death was accidental.
Apparently, he's right.Awwwwwww, Drew doesn't think he can get a fair trial:
Not to convict the guy before he has a fair trial but... fry like a McNugget you smug SOB.I sure in the hell hope so. Can't stand the sight of this mother####er.
I'm sure he killed Stacey as well. I've been waiting for a hell of a long time for this.
It made my day, hopefully this ######## will never see the light of day again.
where to?Someone's about to walk
Sounds like he's one step ahead of the law. And a huge #####. Hope they have more because often where there's smoke there is fire and he's a smug ####### and when there's dead or missing people smug is a bad place to be.Judge almost declared a mistrial today because neighbor got on the stand and testified that he found a bullet in his yard and claimed Peterson did it to intimidate him.If that's the sort of evidence the prosecution is relying on they really don't have a case.
At least we know what Mike Holmgren has been up to.
