Drop Ed Reed? (1 Viewer)

I don't have the roster space to keep a backup and with Reed constantly being a game time decision and the fact he hasn't played a good game yet.

Should I drop Reed for: Perhaps a weekly play and ditch?

Nick Collins

Sean Jones

A. Bethea

Roman Harper

Lewis Sanders

1.5 tackle .75 assist, 5 int, 4 sack, 3 ff, 2 fr, 1 pass defend, 6 td, 1 per 10 yards punt/kick return

I'd drop him for Jones or Harper. If Bethea continues to play, I'd drop Reed for him as well. Reed is a great playmaker, but when he doesn't make interceptions, he rarely makes many tackles.

I would drop him for any of the above minus Sanders. Collins without hesitation. The defensive schemes that Baltimore uses doesnt give Reed alot of opportunity to make tackles consistantly. He is the type of player that will help you win this week with huge numbers, and almost vanish the following week. Reed is someone that I refuse to roster because of this. He is an outstanding DB, arguably one of the best in the NFL. But his fantasy #'s are smaller than his name in most scoring systems. His FP output is far too frustrating for me to deal with. Take his name away and just look at the numbers. JMO of course.....
