A little uncomfortable with my DBs after Sunday's lackluster performances. Horton was solid, but Rhodes and Marshall let me down. (4 tacks for Rhodes, 3 for Marshall...and no other big plays from either.) After being disappointed by Rhodes during the past two seasons, I had(ve) big hopes for him this year in Rex Ryan's attacking style defense. The word from training camp had him freed up from the "centerfield" free safety-esque role he was playing the last two years and back to the roaming "in the box" strong safety role that allowed his numbers to soar two years ago. Alas... Sunday's numbers didn't reassure me in any way. As for Marshall, he is supposed to be a full-time DB this year and not just playing in nickel packages; so, naturally, I have been expecting a big year from him. ??
I'm in a league that starts 1 DB, 1 DE/DT, 1 LB and 3 D-flex. Scoring: 1.5 for solo tack, 0.75 assists, 6 points for sacks and INTs. 14 teams. So, needless to say, it is a deep league. Right now, Sabby Piscatelli, Abram Elam and Mike Brown are available on the WW, and they each had really good days yesterday from an IDP standpoint. Should I strongly consider dropping Rhodes and Marshall for two of these three in exchange? They prob. won't be sitting on my wire for long, so let me know what I should do. Thx.
