I'M in a 16 team league with rosters of 15 players starting QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DEF (Only 6 bench spots total)

QB scoring is crazy with 6 points per TD and +1 for every completion, -1 for Incompletion.

I've been carrying 3 QB's all year as I had Vick and Ponder and traded for Peyton Manning in week 3.

Manning and Vick had the same bye week, so I had to hold Ponder til at least after that.

My WR's have been hurting as I traded away Fitz for Manning and was left with Harvin, M. Floyd, S. Holmes(Went down, so picked up Kerley and S. Hill)

With Harvin not looking to play, I needed to pick someone up to play with Kerley and Floyd this week (Hill hasn't stepped it back up) so I dropped Ponder and picked up Emmanuel Sanders as I will not be needing Ponder again this year more than likely.

Another Owner is furious as he is playing the team with Rodgers and the guy doesn't even have a backup QB on his roster and was going to have to pick someone up.

Here's what was available on the wire at QB:

Hasselbeck @Mia - That's it, no other starting QB is available.

The other owner is pissed cause his opponent can now pick up Ponder vs Detroit. Trades are very infrequent in this league, we've had 2 in the last 3 years total, so there was no way I was going to get anything for Ponder or Vick.

I feel I should be able to manage my roster however I feel I need to and he can go pound sand.

Thoughts?

 
Tell the other owner you hate him and your whole reasoning was to screw him over.

This kind of thing is ridiculous. I probably would have put a feeler out there to try to trade Ponder for anything since the position is so thin on the waiver wire but you may not have got any offers anyway. At least then you could have asked why he did not make an offer then?

 
phew! It's about time I was up all night waiting for the latest news from the 'I think you care about my league' league.

 
The Rodgers owner would be far better off starting Hasselbeck, anyway.

Edit: tell him if he's that upset, he's free to add Ponder.

I would, but he is last in Waiver priority, so I'd have to listen to him complain about that.
 
Tell him the other owner paid you $100 to drop Ponder and for $200 you will ask the commish to reverse the drop.

 
Tell him :ptts: - if his team isn't good enough to win, even if the opponent doesn't get screwed by bye weeks, then he doesn't deserve to win anyway. Oh and tell him to #### off.

Agreed. It's Ponder we're talking about here, not Brees or Brady.
 
I just dropped Ponder in a 14 team league for the same reason. I think the other guy is overreacting, sucks for him but you didn't do it to help the other owner.
